Local mid-grade Bangladeshi Brand 'Cat's Eye' (Local 'Gap' type brand)- opened their newest outlet in South Asia's largest mall Jamuna Future Park, granted the young models have a lot to learn about poise and strutting - but you have to start somewhere. Good effort nonetheless.

As a country where have we come in the last ten years? Kind of a reality check from BanglaLink cell phone provider and a feelgood one at that...(sorry Bangla only). At last count BanglaLink had 3 crore subscribers and GrameenPhone had 5 crores. The total population of Bangladesh is around 16 crores. That means more than half (probably 60% to 70%) of the population have cellphones.
