Bangladeshi migrants attacking BJP workers with Mamata's backing, says BJP MP Giriraj Singh

India Today – June 4, 2014

BJP's controversial MP Giriraj Singh on Wednesday targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for the attacks on BJP workers in the state.
In a tweet, the MP from Nawada in Bihar said his party workers were being targeted by Bangladeshi migrants with the backing from the West Bengal CM's Trinamool Congress.
Earlier in the day, Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju had said Bangladeshi migrants are the cause of concern nationwide in relation to Assam. It must be noted that Giriraj Singh has made such controversial statement earlier as well, one of them was telling people who were critical of Narendra Modi that they should go to Pakistan once Modi was elected. The party was left embarrassed by the go-to-Pakistan remark by Giriraj Singh.

Illegal immigration from Bangladesh a national problem, says union minister

India Today – June 4, 2014

Illegal immigration from Bangladesh is a national problem, Union Minister of State for Home Kiran Rijiju said on Tuesday amid calls by a BJP MP to drive out the immigrants from Assam.
"The issue of illegal migrants and infiltrators in the northeast, especially the issue of Bangladeshis, is a cause of concern for all of us...This is a national problem," Rijiju, an MP from Arunachal West, said.
He said action will be taken against those "infiltrators" staying in the Indian territory.
On Jorhat MP Kamakhaya Prasad Tasa's call for a 'Bangladeshi bhagao abhiyan' (Drive out Bangladeshis), he said: "We have to look at these things from the national perspective. So action will be taken but we have to work along with the state government," reported PTI.
Tasa had said the drive would start from Jorhat and will be followed by other parts of the state.
"It has been an issue for all of us. Particularly our party. We consider this issue not as a political problem. This is a national problem," the minister said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had, in his election rallies, said illegal immigrants from Bangladesh would have to go back.
Modi had also said he would only try to honour the Supreme Court's observation that infiltration was an act of aggression on India.
But there is disagreement within the BJP over the issue. Former home secretary and BJP member R.K. Singh said the issue of illegal immigration from Bangladesh cannot be tackled in the manner demanded by Assam BJP.
But the ultimatum to illegal immigrants to start leaving Assam has put the minority Bengali-speaking community of state in a state of panic.

I remember when mumbai police captured some bangladeshis and were transporting them in a train to BD border for deportation, their train was attacked under blessings from commies in WB, the BDs released and Mumbai police beaten up.

This is the kind of politicians WB elect!!!

In any case this is a good platform for BJP to widen their support base in WB. Who needs communal violent ultra-retards like mamta???

Bangladeshis attacking bjp, look at the audacity of these bangladeshis, this is what happens when you let these illegals inside india,People should report illegals to police and there should be retaliation.

Where is that Swami Ji. He should be beaten up in the first place.

There are no Bangladeshsi in west Bengal. It is certainly the Muslims of west Bengal who are beating up the BJP leaders in that State. So, in order to save face the BJP leaders are scapegoating Bangladeshis as the source of hooliganism. Thing is, west Bengal Muslims are less in brain power and strong in muscle power. This is what I have known from the people who frequently visit their relatives in west Bengal.

Big numbers of RSS volunteer from Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharashtra should be sent to West Bengal. With the power of Central Government on their side they'll be able to payback with interest.

who will save these lungis in Assam.?

after 10 days youth movement is starting to go each n every home to throw them out.

Good. These superhuman "illegals" should lynch Modi next. :coffee:

And be mass executed? Seems like you hate your countrymen so much that you want them to be dead.

That is the legal gentle way of doing it. I say just clamp down on news traders and give the Bodos a free hand. They will deal with this menace for good. And if they need reinforcements, ask the garo and khasi from Meghalaya and Nagas to assist them.

If WB people are weaklings, not our problem.

10 days is needed to arrange for enough trains for them to be sent back. That's all.
