What's new

Bangladeshi Fashion

@2800

Please start a new thread bro. That is if you guys have a lot of photos to share of pretty girls.

I wish the Chinese and Japanese would do the same.

As would the Turks.

I would ask Solomon for Israeli chicks, but he's always so serious man.

Saudi chicks possible ??????????????

This is hardly a military forum man. Its an international social forum more than anything. With a tilt towards geopolitics and security issues sure.

Don't know about Saudi chicks. Haven't seen many. Some on Al Jazeera.

Am just thinking of the active nationalities here.

Indian.

Pakistani.

Bangladeshi.

Chinese.

Iranian.

Saudi.

Turk.

great another thread on iranian chicks is about to be opened

^ Iranian beauties deserve their own thread!

I always thought Bangali girls were like Indian girls (ones I've seen on tv, never been to India myself) but BD girls have different eye shape and face structure, very cute all of them!
I wanted to say exactly the same thing as what you said however I thought it would be insult to Indians or Bangalis. I want to knonw why Bangalis look different than Indians. Probably Bangalis here can answer...

My biggest complain about bangladeshisi girls is that atleast in their fashion industry they have way too many lookalikes

This is due to various factors. One of them is that the historic genetic mix of Bengali people in Eastern Bangladesh (especially close to Burma border and not West Bengal) contains more East Asian blood due to intermixing and intermarriage with Indo-Chinese peoples and due to vigorous trade and travel (this was the route of spread of Buddhism via land and sea towards the East), hence the lighter skin tone and different facial features like oriental cheek bones. This has led to stronger gene diversity and out-breeding.

Bangladesh used to be a collective combination of Buddhist Kingdoms (language used to be Pali at that time, an offshoot of Sanskrit) and this area boasted many Buddhist Viharas (seats of higher learning) which still exist. There was a lot of people-to-people interchange and travel with East Asia. The language (as well as Buddhist religious practices) of ancient Thailand was in part derived from the culture and religious practices of our local area. This is clear from their alphabet and ours which is fairly similar. The sounds are almost identical.

Bangladesh in ancient times was also a vigorous sea-faring and trading nation because of location. The entire trade of Eastern India used to be conducted through our riverine ports which have sufficient draft to accommodate sea-faring dhows and frigates.

So - there was vigorous trade with trade centers in Persia and the Arabian Peninsula in early pre-Moghul times as well as Europeans in post-Mughal times which led to intermarriage and genetic diversity.

Bangladeshis probably consume just as much if not more Rasgullas (and other milk-based confections) than other parts of the subcontinent. But mithai shop retailing has changed and some are very up-market nowadays.

How about a few images of our popular TV presenter Masuma Rahman (Nabila). Vivacious, bubbly, charming and definitely not just a pretty face :-). On top of which she has that 'come hither' quality and an approachable/friendly 'girl next door' look. She's a long-standing presenter - having started her career in 2006. Chho Chhweet :-)

I saw that some of Sumaiya Tanzina's photos aren't showing up. Here's a few more. She's almost a dead-ringer for someone named Angelina....who herself happens to be a delightful hybrid....:-)

Thank you for answer.

I think Bangladeshis after Iranians are the most beautiful ladies in Asia. :toast_sign: And to be honest they look more like Iranians rather than Pakistanis and Indians.
