What is so special about Pori Moni? Heard that so quickly she has signed for 20 movies. I just known about her recently. I dont find her that attractive. But BD producers have a thing for Kobori. So they still look for faces like kabori.

The thing about Pori Moni is that she has a special niche in Dhallywood movies.

She is not really item girl like Mahiya Mahi or a total fitness freak like Naila Nayem. Those type of fit women or ramp models are not well-liked by working class folks who are primary market for Dhallywood movies. Working class women are naturally skinny - so working class men prefer women that sort of look like (well..) a little on the plump side.

The bus conductors and the pump operators of this day and age are fond of women like Pori moni who is showing signs of getting a bit 'meaty' (Gaye Goshto) eventually. Putting waif like ramp models in Dhallywood movies (like 'Brishti' or 'Tisha') would spell disaster.

Very strange - I didn't get this part before some film director told me at a seminar we attended together.

Among the models @bongbang posted, how about some more of Zakia Bari (Momo) from a few years ago? She got married recently and is not modeling as much anymore.

Yes there are some TV presenters with very good looks but not among the ones I posted.

There were famous Club DJ's like Sonica who are famous. She kind of dresses racy at times...

Found some images of Farhana Shabnam Nisho who is a presenter at Jamuna TV but she is not a model any longer as I understand...
