Saudi Arabia is not the yard stick of Islam. BD is BD and SA is SA. We have different sets of rules and laws. Our one is the English civil code and their one is Islamic Sharia laws that have been forced on that country by the fundamentalist Wahabi groups. Wahabis remain as strong as before. Ours is a form that is quite moderate and this has been going on for many centuries. Muslims of Bengal never showed extremism in the name of religion. So, this moderate Islam will prevail in BD. However, if the Indian stooge AL tries to undo this moderate Islam from BD by institulizing secularism, it will backfire and the country will go backyard by a movement of Islamists.

So, the only way to remain moderate is not to start controversy over religion and state relationship. By the way, Sajeda Ch. is perhaps the selected MP in the Parliament. No one listens to this daughter of a former Zamindar (Vadere) family from greater Faridpur any more.
