I heard from few teachers that they have problems in enforcing dress code in Schools and dont have any guideline in dealing with Burqa and Niqab. The school authorities should have alternate dresses for who wishing to use Burqa or Tupi matching with the color of the school dress.

Dude i went to american international school in dhaka where 60% of the kids were foreigners and white even there there was a bunch of girls who wore full blown niqab and no one said anything....

Uttara model school. It came in almost all bengali news papers expect the awami malaunic Daily star. People should not comment without knowing the facts.

Instead of regretting and condemning the incident many BD members here are attacking hinduism, just cos they hate hinduism!!!
What have hindu religion do with this incident?
U can put the teachers into jail if they are guilty, but talking against the 10% population of BD is like literally threatening them and showing some of BD members hate against hinduism !!

No body in BD hates hinduism. Unfortunately some of your hindu brethren forgot that this is BD and this is not the only case but there are plenty of instances where this 10% provoked the 90% taking advantage of our generosity.

My suggestion was to provide a guideline. Teachers in the small towns and villages are really confused. I seen most schools in BD now a days enforce dress code. Burqa or Niqab could be weared provided they match with the color scheme but most of the time girls just wear Black Buraq which is not acceptable to many fellow students complaining of extra advantage those girls gets not buying school dress.

Generosity has it's limit. Just because we are tolerant doesn't mean we are not keeping track. Some Hindus definitely cross limit with the back up of Awami malaun. These Hindus should keep in mind that Awamis days are ending soon. Al leaders will be reading ya nafsi shortly. Who will shelters these Hindus then.

What are you talking about. Don't derail the thread. These students are were barred not because of
dess code but because of their religion and don't tell me you need specific dess codes in universities.

Yes sad but true,where even in most of the western countries people don't bother about niqub/burqa then whats wrong with this wanna be secularists,they are ruining the social structure and harmony.I think they are Bangla literature teachers because i found most of them being atheist and some of them even dare to talk against Islam openly.These loosers should be kicked straight into the Bay of Bengal, nothing more nothing less.
