Bangladesh stands by India; slams Pakistan for statement that India interfered during 1971 crisis

.
Good luck with that.
Thankyou, it is a bold initiative but one that can change the lives of over 1.5 billion people.

Which is why resolution of our territorial and maritime disputes was crucial before this could move ahead and why GoI rushed the treaty with Bangladesh, agreeing to give away a lot of land and massive sea area to Bangladesh.
Finally, now India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan have zero territorial claims on each other.

The next phase of this project involves setting up the same treaties with Myanmar under BIMSTEC.

CPEC may happen, but that too depend on how much peace you will have with India. Any tensions in the Pakistan, China may not invest $46 billion. After all no one wants to loose money.

Silk Road is a concept put forward by China. It has nothing to do with existing accords or routes.

Peace with india.. We are open to dialogue .. It's you who has problems... Your Modi charm is losing its shine.. And PAK bashing in india gets your support... Every other pathetic anti Pak statement by your give is used to get em done public support and breathing space... And CPEC won't be effected by any tension.. Unless india goes for war... Which is out of the question the worst you can do is intensify proxy war... Which will not only be countered by us but will be turned with favour ... After all you aren't immune but you are pretty much vulnerable in regions like IOK,N.E and even Punjab..

The ball is in your court!

Obviously India interfered, it was in their strategic interest to see East and West Pakistan split. What did you all expect them to, pass up an opportunity like that? Pakistanis and Bangladeshi's are a world apart, we have very little in common and except for islam we are very different people just as we are very different from Indians.

From 1947 west Pakistan was taking the bulk of the earning to enrich itself, while we got jack. Then they tried to impose Urdu, a alien language on us....even after winning a majority in the general election, west Pakistanis refused to accept it.

We are far better of being independent, and can concentrate on building our nation...

It's never smart to put all your eggs in one basket. This is why we work on balancing our relationships, China (our biggest trading partner and strategic arms supplier), Japan (a key investor and economic assistance provider), Russia (secondary arms supplier), EU (our biggest export market), ASEAN (future market) and india (neighbour).

Dhaka is still better than Karachi and lahore anyday!! No electricity, stagnant economy and terrorism is rampant in Pakistan...
Only Islamabad may be termed as clean and nice, but even that was initially build with money generated from Bangladesh prior to 71.

.
True but Bangladeshis by in large have anti-Pakistan sentiments. We need to leave them alone for good.

I agree. Bangladesh cannot offer us anything, neither can we offer them anything, although it would good to kick out 1 million illegal Bengalis living in karachi with fake id cars.

Why Pakistan would want to bring 1971 up is beyond me

Modi brought it up. So he accepts it was India which first started supporting cross border terrorism, Pakistan learn its tricks from India in how to start cross border militancy.
