Bangladesh picks India’s Shyam Benegal to direct Bangabandhu biopic

Of course, the documentary of an Indian agent should be made by an Indian director.

This is a disservice to BD people. Sheikh Hasina trying to further Indian Modi/Mamata propaganda in BD.

India is murdering BD border security forces, stealing water and land by changing river flows, and attempting to force 4 million Indian Muslims into BD as refugees.

BD has bigger current problems than Holocaust museums and Mujib films.

Pls don't worry. We r good at multitasking. In one hand we will make films about the father of our nation who freed us from the persecution of West Pakistan regime, on the other hand will continue to set example with our economic development so that other lesser developed countries like Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan or Afghanistan can follow that example and improve their poor condition.

Secondly, India was directly involved in 71 war and helped us in various ways so that we can add a new country-free from any persecution on global map. So, it shouldn't surprise u if these two countries jointly make a biopic on someone like Mujib, the declarer of our independence.

So many problems BD facing from India, but Sheikh Hasina (Indian puppet bint Indian puppet) only sees 1971.

Who is going to worry about 2018? Refugee crisis, border violations, government political crackdowns.

Now is the time to use Pakistan and China to counterbalance BD’s India policy and apply pressure. Put BD people first.

I was going to question the need for this film - then I had second thoughts.

Not going to hurt people's sensitivities.

But idolization of leaders and hero-worshipping is pointless in my opinion.

What next - a biopic about Bhutto?

I guess Bongobondhu-1 satellite was not in high enough altitude/orbit to ensure his name remain high in the sky !!
