What's new

Bangladesh on January 5th and Afterwards

Ah there you are again with your idiocies. You have lost the argument many times and yet you keep harping on the issue again and again.

And keep blaming India. And then say India had 24 years head start. Blah blah...It is because of attitude like this, that BD is in the state that it is today. It the people of Bangladesh itself who have failed their nation.

BD is still growing at 6% a year even with this Indian interference.

India is growing at around 4%.

BD will be free of these Indian-backed Awami League traitors soon as they have over-reached themselves and will outstrip an India that after nearly seven decades of independence still has mass starvation. If that is not the definition of a failed state then I don't know what is!:omghaha:

When you are talking about GDP per capita, it is the PPP which matters.

And fact of the matter is, BD wont even be equal to pakistan( with all its civil war kinda situation) as per IMF estimates in 2018.

But try telling this to @UKBengali , he will start harping that India got a 24 year head start blah blah. And yet he says BD will economically outstrip India:lol:

IMF estimates do not take into account that BD economy is now 14% larger due to the BD government using the 2005 base year now. When that is taken into account, BD passes Pakistan by 2018 and then India is next in it's sights:sniper:

And the 24 year head start that India had is a FACT.

Check out the IMF figures, then start talking.

And your supposed failed state will shortly launch an indigenous cryogenic engine propelled rocket within minutes, and your country people are fighting like dogs:woot:

And hey, tell you what those IMF figures ( you were that thread starter) it had predicted assuming a relatively stable political scenario. In this present case of BD, the actual figures will be lot worse that predicted:oops:

You think that the Awami League will be able to hang on for longer than 12-18 months? When it goes, complete political destruction will be it's fate.

Yes, India has set BD back a fair bit due to it's own insecurities but in the long run the obliteration of the Awami League from the BD political landscape will lead to a stronger BD.

IMF estimates in 2018

Pakistan 3799
BD 3010

IDont know about the 14% increase, but even if it were true it would not have surpassed Pakistan. Do the math yourself.

So much for your bold and stupid statement - BD will economically outstrip India.

Most idiotic analysis ever. By your logic India will surpass USA as our growth rate is 4% and there's growth rate is 1%. You do know india is a 1.8 trillion dollar economy, right? even at 4% we would be adding half of BD's gdp every year. Go figure.

Try to understand the concept of GDP/capita.

He's talking about GDP per capita and the standard of living. We have already outstripped India in many social indicators and our economy is moving faster than India. moreover, according to recent surveys Bangladesh is a more prosperous country than India, all these things despite the grave issues that Bangladesh is facing. Hence it won't be a big deal for us to outstrip India economically when the things will improve in near future. Don't gloat like an ignorant fool.

Even I was talking about GDP per capita you fool. Read over the messages once more, this time a tad slower!

imf has predicted that ur per capita income will be around 3100 $ in 2018 compared to India's 5500 $ in 2018

social indicators are different thing
currently ur economy isnt in a bad shape rather ours is

2014 is considered as a good year from indian pov

bangladesh outstripping India is a distant dream and is not possible in the coming 20 years atleast(talking out gdp per capita)

So was it your sight problem or lack of knowledge that you missed his comment on the rebasing of Bangladesh's economy which was not taken into account of IMF estimations?

Mr Retard. Look up post 21. Please!

The 14% increase is on GDP per capita on nominal terms, it should be a lot higher (more than 30%) on GDP per capita on PPP terms which you are quoting, do try to acquire minimum sense of economics before you try to gloat next time.
