I was hopeful but looks like real news is this ship have gone for Philippine. Not to mention so many of these procurement news originated from bdmil without proof, that it became a fantasy forum.

No bro,what i've seen there is BD somehow convinced US to give it to BN where earlier it was supposed to be given to Philippine and there was also a news on Manabzamin newspaper where it was clearly named USCGC Dallas....And if we are unlucky enough not get the Dallas then there is still USCGC Rush and it is confirmed...you can see the confirmation pic from the post #39.

Doesn't matter as BN is already getting USCGC Rush and both are same in every aspect,,,And regarding giving that ship to Philippines,lets wait time will say...

USCGC Dallas WHEC-716 has been confirmed for turnover to the Philippine Navy by May of 2012 ...

Its probably a different ship of the same Hamilton class. USCG is retiring all 12 vessels of that class.
