You didnt understand the post a bit. EU and USA dont care about BNP-Awmileague... Their goal is to arrange a free and fair election....

For the Army Part - Everyone in Bangladesh knows Army chief is not corrupted.... But Hasina installed pro-regime officers in key Positions... They are known as RAW agents ....

Chief of Army Staff post is of of a lame duck's one. He does not command any amount of soldiers, even the guards at his house are provided by the engineer's brigade. Lets assume for a second that the army chief is the most honest man in Bangladesh and highly anti awamileague, what difference does it make if he has no command over the 46th brigade, 9th division and the engineer's brigade? I highly doubt this chief is an anti-awami leaguer......last time around 5-6 people died and there was a military intervention, this time over 1000 died and there is nothing...

I beg to differ. Current Govt. under Sheikh Hasina is legal and constitutional... This is why Army, UN, EU are inactive. They wont work against a legitimate govt... But right after election - The new Govt will lose its Legitimacy ..... So the Army will be allowed to take power by World Powers....... So its still to early too come to any conclusion..... @MBI Munshi

You think you know this but Hasina/BAL doesn't know? One thing I think many are failing to feel that this time they (BAL/india/Hasina nexus) are well planned....one after one events and their successes are proving that.

How?The next election will be 'constitutional" because it will be held under a 'legal' and 'constitutional' government following the 'constitution'....whether or not BNP or any other party participates in the next election does not matter....the 'elected' government' will still be 'legitimate'!

Without foreign observers specially from EU, US and Japan this (so called) constitutional election will have no acceptance both in home and abroad. Whole the world knows BD is a den of rigged election. Have you ever seen any elections since 91 without presence of international observers?

This government became illegal after October 24th when the term of the AL government ended. This interim government that we have now is not mentioned in the constitution.

Yeah we did. We have also successfully reduced the hegemony of Calcutta (circa 1965) to Kolkata (2009) from being the best Indian metropolis to the worst.
The communists have raped WB for far too long. Their electoral stronghold in WB has been permanently washed out.

I have "had to" read a lot on them because of my labour law subjects. There are a lot of things I'm personally opposed to in the Marxist ideology....but why should you care
