There was no opposition after a decade...imagine the last 2 decades!I would not feel 'comfortable' with they way commies 'conduct' elections!
Yes it wasn't comfortable...but the grass-root strength of cadres.....was too much to comprehend!
Everything revolved around the "party"
The cadres had more arms and ammo than law enforcement.
But still there is no comparison with Bangladesh.
I just don't get the concept of unilateral "democracy" where the "opposition" doesn't even attend the parliament. This was never the case in WB.
