What's new

Bangladesh involved in sabotaging SAARC summit scheduled to be held in Pakistan, says Khawaja Asif

Oh...god...this guy is a foreign minister.

Says Bangladesh is sabotaging SAARC. Doesn't say anything about how Bangladesh is doing it. Jumps back to 1971. Accuses Bangladesh of not implementing tripartite agreement(of which he has no idea of). And then says Pakistan is trying to improve relation with Bangladesh...lol...

lol

that neutrality will die pretty soon if you stick to the thread a little longer.
LOL! I'm not into this first time and I've faced worst of them - maybe you remember and here we're still consistent in attitude. Though, the thing you're talking about have already happened, my eyes were wet when I first talked to someone from Bangladesh - all that love for Bangladesh as Muslim majority country and acquaintance as we had been together once faded on each encounter but rather turned into hatred when I get to know more. But, hatred isn't my agenda. Regarding hatred for us among them - I think I understand that part as well - that is what their nation is built upon, the more that peddle it more they boos their national ego. If you pull it out they're just like the nation with no foundation and no such nation can survive. I think you understand that too. So, why would you give yourself to hatred for them?

i just do not like wasting my time on them.... hate is much too big a word for that country.
i am just after the ummah loving robots who have a Hilsa fetish. thats all

though the Rakhine state once formed will be a good experiment.

What he said that is completely true. Our FM has every right to speak his mind and what's Pakistan's view on the incident. Bangladeshis here should mind their own business. P.S under the current leadership of Hasina, Pakistan is better off to ignore Bangladesh completely. Our relations under her, won't improve a bit infact will only gonna get worse so there is no point in meeting their officials as well.

Bangladesh isnt a sovereign nation under their D class prime minister, the countries foreign policy is being written from New Delhi.

ummah loving
Well, I personally don't want such sentiment attributed towards Bangladesh but I don't object this either for other Muslim majority countries for people to people relations, rather I think this healthy constituent. Practically, as we've seen, this national interests that bring nations together in today's world.

Rakhine state: You often talk about this, why would do you want this? In my view, people will suffer if this happens.

its only fair that in a region where countries are defined by race and ethnicity those stuck as stateless should be given a state of their own.

A Rakhine state would balance out the animosity and further help the human development giving fair and free chance for the populace.

Everyone suffers. Suffering is considered a Humans curse theologically in some parts as well. So do not want to go in that debate since who wants to have a bunch of racist people trying to be humanists somehow.

Well if it's up to me I would ask both parties to sit together and figure out their differences. Separation will lead them no where - both parties will be at loss and newly emerged state will become proxy pawn of others to survive - they'll not be free after separation either. So, why not they just develop some tolerance for each other at first place? And if they cannot - then why should we be favoring one outcome while negating the other? Why not just leave it up to them?

Rakhine state might be a possibility, but only within present day border of Burma. Worry about your own territories my boy. A lot of unrest is going on there.

Btw which two parties, I might ask?

we have nothing to do with that so do not worry if any resource is being spent on this.
this is just an eventuality and just an early observation.

Pakistan did leave Bangladesh and its people to their fate as early as 1976.

so you went from Hilsa to the plastic Salmon they feed you in Sweden..... talk about obsession...

A benign neglect with studied politeness and diplomatic platitudes is the only way to deal with BD.

Unless, of course, they turn around and buy 100 JFs and some AK2 tanks and complemented with other defence systems and training services... Then Paks can kiss them on all cheeks!

If not... deep freezer is the only option...

Pak FM shows lack of experience and finessé when he talks like this...

Why these Pak Politicos forget that they are representing an Ancient Civlisation? Are they that ignorant?

Hide disdain, exercise composure... be courteous and ignore with kindness, always smile.... Diplomacy 101.

Pak needs to send politicos to rehab or reschooling.

Rather sad sight seeing such poor diplomatic conduct. Sad.

If Pakistan really wants to normalize the relations, it needs to start afresh and leave 1971 aside. People generally are not hostile towards Pakistan here and after the Rohingya crisis, there is a realization among the people about the importance of strong relations with the Muslim world.
