High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Pakistan, Tariq Ahsan will visit Pakistan Sports Goods Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PSGMEA) on Wednesday.

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News, app - 13th Nov, 2018 ) :High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Pakistan, Tariq Ahsan will visit Pakistan sports Goods Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PSGMEA) on Wednesday.

Chairman PSGMEA, Ch Arshad told APP here, that the High Commissioner of Bangladesh will discuss in detail the matters of mutual interest with Sialkot exporters during the meeting.

Machli chawal khilay kay nilako isko. There is nothing Pakistan can gain with regards to trade with Bangladesh.

I think we should just disconnect ourselves completely with Bangladesh, its a loss-loss situation for us. We sell them raw materials, which they turn into value added goods and then sell those to Europe and US for higher rates. Their whole GDP growth is on the back of our incompetence. Our textile industry got demolished just because of it, sure we had power issues but now I think these issues are under control, and we should focus more on our industries than look for exporting raw materials to heavily populated and condensed poor countries like Bangladesh.

They should get a memo, either they are friends of India or they are friends of Pakistan.

This obviously is to lure away pakistani business. Bangladeshi minimum wage is way lower than pakistan and also their industry gets electric and gas subsidy due to which cost of manufacture is lower compared to Pakistan.
