Really, Afghanistan, what kind of madness has got into you?I get a feeling that either Bd/ Afg would make it to the quarters.
are you out of your mind ? Nasir is backWhy is Nassir in the squad? He clearly isn't what he was before.
International level he isn't that good anymore, also it is quite different than the national levels not to mention difficult. But I have no problems with him being in the team if he can get back to his previous form.are you out of your mind ? Nasir is back
league report: 550 runs, 1 century and 4 half centures aveg. 50.00
are you saying that come back player can't play good anymore ?International level he isn't that good anymore,
If we were giving comeback player chances why not give the highest wicket taker Elias Sunny a chance or Naeem Islam, 3rd highest run (63.4 average) scorer and took 20 wickets in the Dhaka Premier League.are you saying that come back player can't play good anymore ?
i am worried about Mominul Haque. he is not good in short format. I would choice between Rony talukder or Litton kumar das

Just because they beat Bangladesh doesn't mean they can compete at the highest level. Why not? They have the hunger to win and they showed they could compete at the highest levels.
Elias sunny did not make it because Taijul and arafat can contribute in other sides too.If we were giving comeback player chances why not give the highest wicket taker Elias Sunny a chance or Naeem Islam, 3rd highest run (63.4 average) scorer and took 20 wickets in the Dhaka Premier League.
every one hunger to win.Why not? They have the hunger to win and they showed they could compete at the highest levels.

Sometimes our batting line-up starts to collapse, we need someone in the team to play to slow things down for a bit get a partnership going. The average strike-rate for ODI's is 70. Most of our batsmen have a strike-rate in the 70's (Mushfiq 71 and Shakib 79).Elias sunny did not make it because Taijul and arafat can contribute in other sides too.
talking about Naeem Islam ? his strike rate is about 66 which is really poor for shorter format. it is not just how many runs you make but also how quickly you do. his strikes rate 66 means, he wastes so many balls.
every one hunger to win.
Afghanistan has good bowling line up but sucks in batting line up
btw recently Afghanistan lost ODI series with UAE, 3-1Afghanistan has shown a lot of improvement in the past 4 years. So, why don't we wait a couple of months to see what happens.
Do you really think they have the capabilities to beat any of New Zealand, Australia, Sri Lanka or England. Because they would need to beat at least one of them and win against both Scotland and Bangladesh.Afghanistan has shown a lot of improvement in the past 4 years. So, why don't we wait a couple of months to see what happens.
