Bangladesh FM proposes contact farming deal to South Sudan

Please stop personal attacks and bullshitting all the time. There is no relationship between collective farming and agriculture development in S. Sudan by China because its farmers have the expertise to develop agriculture in a modern and scientific way,

Read the excerpt below to grow knowledge in your upper chamber. It lacks cow dung.

"Table II represents the existing total number of manufactured and imported machinery and spare parts in Bogura.
The result shows that the manufactured machines and spare parts were 3925 and 3300. On the other hand, imports were1822 and 2100 in 2017 respectively".

Do the figures prove BD is producing a very high number of machines when it should be producing millions every year? Moreover, I have not seen one power tiller in the country. At least, its uses are not that widespread.

I have seen quite a few tractors working in the fields on rent. In general, the uses of agriculture machines and tools are very low. Farmers cannot just afford them. So, they use traditional homemade tools.

BD is not self-sufficient in producing agriculture machines that should be manufactured in millions every year.

So, with this kind of meager experience why do you think BD farmers are capable to tilt lands in South Sudan? Talk logic, please.

You are back again with your nauseating drivel.

China was able to transition to industrial agriculture due to collectavisation as that made sense. It cant happen in a small holding scenario.

BD leasing land in sudan will be farmed on a commercial basis. There is no equivalence to the situation that exists in BD.

Its a chicken and egg situation dude..... if you do not have enough land, you do not have enough excess income to machanise leading to lower yeilds.

Do tell us how/who should be producing millions of agricultural machinery every year and if it does who would buy them.

I keep telling you which does not seem to get into your head....the GoB can not develop industry, only the private sector can. All GoB can do is to enable infastructure and helpful procedural framework. Private sector will do what is needed when the timing is correct and it becomes profitable to do it.

China was able to do what it did because they are communists and the government controls everything. This is not the system in BD.

So, do you think with the production of only 3000 small agricultural tools, BD can go to Africa and win that Continent. Are you alright? You better see a mental doctor in Hemayetpur. How far is it from your place?

And, better come with one BD flag and another Barishailla flag instead of two white man flags, bloody kailla!!

. .
$ucking hell, this old hag is too much, like bruh wtf is wrong with you?
You can't make mobile or fridge , because you can't make needle! You can't make car because you didn't make steam engine!

And now you can't lease land in South Sudan, because you can't make your own agricultural tool! Period!

It's gospel man , it's gospel ! You are bound to obey it! :sarcastic:

BD will commercially farm huge tracts of land on a commercial basis. It will be done by private enterprises of BD. All government would do it make an framework agreement with sudan guaranteeing period payment to them. GoB will then sublease the land to BD private concern and potentially guarantee purchase of all the produce.

It really is not rocket science. GoB wont be the actually undertaking the farming itself. Seriously take a chill pill and understand what is being proposed.

Why the issue with the flags on my profile... you keep forgetting BD uses taka and not rupee... lets make a deal... use your real indian flag and i will change one of my flags to that of BD

Stupidity should have a limit. You must be born stupid not to understand that agricultural commodities earn a very low amount of money. So, it is not possible for BD to go and do farming in another country.

And BD does not produce farm equipment except very simple non-mechanized tools. Mechanized equipment requires engines or electric motors to operate. Can BD produce any?

China is different because Chinese companies are already in many African countries. Are you a joker like our Alga Momen? Learn the basics instead of repeating like a broken record as you do in all the threads.
Agriculture is a low profit industry!!!! Tell that to Monsanto..... you really are a clown..

What is this hangup with producing agri machinery... whats stopping us simply buying them for the sudan venture?

Did chinese company simply materialise out of thin air in Africa. Well maybe they did... BD will have to take the more traditional air and sea routes to get there. You start a journey with first step.

BD buys $3bn worth of raw cotton annually. If BD can produce this in sudan, BD would control the entire logistics of RMG.

Your childlike tantrums are amusing to a point...but you are now just getting tedious

Are you still a teenager not to know about the cost of production of a commodity? That is again in a faraway foreign country and by a group of BD farmers who have no knowledge of producing cotton.

It is less costly if S. Sudan farmers themselves produce long-fiber cotton and BD imports.

Are you a twin brother of Alga Momen thinking absurd things in the same line? Better you learn economics.

Whats wrong with buying farming equipment from an other country? are you that retarded?

Its like saying Bangladesh armed forces cant defend the nation because it does not produce fighter jet and anti-tank etc.

Your last comment to me was

"Stupidity should have limit. You must be born stupid not to understand that Agricultural Commodities earn a very low amount of money"

Now you are claiming agri cost of production is high. So when BD buys cotton from overseas are the selling that to us at a loss?

Do you think they discount their cost of production and cost of transport to us. Do you think they just dont bother to put a mark up on top of that.

BD needs land for commercial farming, that is the only missing piece for us. Whats stopping us leasing that land to international agri business to grow cotton for us to ensure smooth supply for the country. Even under these condition BD will save on cost of import which is $3bn and increasing every year.

You are just another hindutva troll. You lack basic understanding of economics and exist simply to bad mouth BD. Your only fallback is to call people names. Its cool, you are just venting your impotent rage... whatever helps you sleep at night.

Stop bullshitting. I have little time to keep on arguing with you constantly in your posts as if talking like this will cause our farmers to go to S. Sudan in scores to farm its land. I am a busy construction laborer in Japan unlike you.

So, why are you still waiting to leave your Barishal fisherman life and move out to South Sudan? It will make your twin brother Alga Momen very happy. Please ask him to provide a two-way air ticket, a big air-conditioned house, a hundred acres of farmland, and tens of farm machines.

When you reach there, don't forget to send us air tickets for about 50 Bangladeshis willing to leave Japan to work as farmhands. Don't forget to include @bluesky.

South Sudan is a land locked country.

If the proposed deal is to become reality, BD has make deal with neighboring coastal nations. The easiest route is probably Ethiopia Djibouti. China is a friend and has access to both aforementioned nations. Ethiopia also has new railroads and decent infrastructure.
