What she said about Pakistan is clear; Pakistan is interfering in internal affairs of BD and Bangladesh is frustrated with Pakistan because of terrorism.

We do not expect much from her either though that interfering was a legal word at that time when she was all gone extreme against rival/opposition. The terrorism aspect that too while blaming Pakistan doesn't fit the bill here though she can sell whatever she want however, the first neighbor is India and she can compare it with what happened in Sri Lanka through LTTE.

There is nothing misleading in this thread. She really said that very clearly and asked both India and Pakistan to maintain the LOC.

People should read in between lines. The PM actually rejected any possible future Indian cross border military action across the BD-India border to subdue terrorists. She also rejects the position taken by two of her Cabinet Ministers earlier this month on Pakistan India border clashes that Bd will side with India.

India created insurgents in CHT, BD and then stopped when Hasina promised India something illegitimate. This is how Hasina and India are associated.

Haseena and BAL are no more ally of India than anyone else in BD. India is a cash cow that she milks periodically to illegally stay in power.

Whatever she is she is a shrewd operator. BD will never seek to get involved in India Pakistan issue.

Rambling of junior ministers are not national policy. Statements such as these are easy to manufacture to keep an unhinged easily manipulated hypersensitive neighbour happy.

Only reason why she is even saying anything is because the Chinese are here. Here realpolitik comes into play and BD Chinese policy alignment is clear to see. It has nothing to do with Chinese investment. BD China strategic relationship is BDs critical national goal because it has universal cross party support.

BD India relationship is a nice to have, has cross party support in principal. However due to the indias objectionable interference in BD politics it has alienated everyone but BAL. As far as I see it -- a master stroke by BAL. It has done so because India is never considered serious ally material and is weak and can be easily exploited.

China is a friend of BD and vice versa.

India just a giant child that needs to be managed.

She said that both india and Pakistan should respect the LOC. She does not support surgical strikes into foreign countries by any state in the name of fighting terror.She also claims that SAARC is there and will be there, there cannot be any substitute for the SAARC.
