Just kidding!

Did you see that in the mirror?

Just ribbing!

But seriously the idea of the blockading of India was so delightful and one should try it.

The Indian coastline is 7517 km to include Andamans.

Therefore, it will be very easily possible.

So, go ahead.

Such fun!

Com'n TTT. Be cheerful sometimes. BD and lankans know it is impossible, they are just having some fun.

Good. BD should increase such ventures and in other fields with Sri Lanka, China

During the LTTE battle, a kind of infusion of SL technicians and business entriprises have taken place in BD. Many SLs are working and many are having their own production facilities. Two of SL airlines are coming to BD. In total, they may have 4 weekly flights. Business relationship is growing after the war. Shipping connection is one venue where SL can provide a valuable service to BD.

Superficially, Chittagong seems to be a deep sea port. But, it is essentially a shallow river port. Smaller coasters and ships are loaded with containers for export. At some points, these containers are transhipped to bigger ocean-going ships. These points are Singapore and Colombo. Due to war, Colombo could not be properly utilized. Most of our transshipments were made at Singapore, as a result.

Now, Colombo can be 100% utilized when our cargoes are destined for West Asia, Europe and Africa. Same is true for incoming cargoes from these places. BD container cargoes that transship at Colombo may reach 70% in no time from the present 23%. Considering a shorter voyage from CTG to Colombo than CTG to Singapore, the cost of freight will be down considerably. So, it will be a win-win business between BD and SL.
