Banglades Opted for SCO membership - China assured

You don't understand the impacts of joining such groups. The economic gains are often negative but the political pressure that can be exerted on Bangladesh by member countries could be immense in comparison. Y

Joining ASEN could be a disastrous. In the future there will want to build road links and so on, and even have open borders. Think before blurting out nonsense.

highlighted part shows extent of your education, geo strategy is way out of your league and keep it that way.

You must be mad. Hope Bangladesh makes a smooth transition from RAWami to PLAami.. Indian dalal Rawami Hasina's ventures make no economic sense and China has more money anyway.

A question to Anti-nationalist Bangladeshi's are we still Indian stooges according to you or Chinese stooges now?

Why hemmerfist mercenary brain can not register what is taking place? Sorry Chinese would not pay british mercenary.

Just look what happened to the UK. Being a member of the EU means they have had a flood of people from other EU countries. And there is nothing they can do about it as they have integrated too deep into the the EU political and economic union.

We are neither Indian nor Chinese stooges. In real life we don't even interact with either of them, even in the West where we have a chance to. We don't even interact with Bengali Indians.

What kind of mental gymnastics will you do to fit this around your biased world-view now?!

I've noticed your theories are becoming increasingly convoluted nowadays. Give it a rest man, too much hate is not good for u.

A few days ago I read your posts lamenting how 'sold out' the country was. I hope this is a sign that you are more hopeful now.

really, you do not even know world outside bricklane but making outlandish garbage here. ASEAN is a productive and prospective union which can open the door for Bangladeshi export and connectivity. Not to mention entry to ASEAN will open the door for Bangladesh to source electricity, agricultural land and other resources. Most ASEAN countries are developed than Bangladesh and unlike indians, will not have any reason to illegally come to Bangladesh. To overcome indian attack on Bangladesh sovereignty and indian monopoly on Bangladesh market, this is an essential integration Bangladesh can not avoid. Only hard core indian dalas (find the meaning of it) ASEAN integration is bad because india will loose out.

I don't even live in or around Brick Lane. ASEAN is for Cinese people countries, and that's what it was always intended to be. Don't be a moron. Don't try to gatecrash an organisation you are not welcome. Its not for Bangladesh to join. So even though Britain has not done well out of joining the EU, joining it on paper was fine since the people of European countries share lot of commonalities. Joining the SCO, on the other hand, is fine because it's meant for a broader coalition of countries. And contrary to popular belief, lot of these trade pacts do not really benefit but actually hinder contrires economically. And in the future, open border policies propagated by these pacts such as ASEAN, could dramatically change the landscape of a country's population. Look at the UK, 40 years ago around 98% of the country was made of Anglos but today almost 20% are of foreign extraction. Just to get one up on India, you would be willing to do anything.

Any Chinese investments in Bangladesh should be no strings attached. In the US and the UK, there is a growing resentment that so many key industries and even private residences in affluent neighbourhoods are now owned by foreigners, like Chinese, Russians, Arabs, in the case of the UK you can add Indians to the list. While the foreigners are buying up residence, the local native people are struggling. Some are even sleeping rough. You should Neve ever give your country away to foreigners. We welcome Chinese investments in Bangladesh but purely in the form of loans. We don't want to give up anything in return.

The problem is some people, especially the Jamatis on this site, are only interested in spreading their political propaganda. They're not interested in discussion or to consider other view points - just living in denial - It's a sad way to live really.

but you sure have a boxed mentality can not see outside the street block. ASEAN countries have people from many ethnic background and it is an economic development block. Not sure if anyone (except indians) following this g h e t t o mentality and logic that "Bangladesh should not join ASEAN because it is for Chinese people". You can not even spell Chinese properly and disgrace to the host country.
