They are not invincible, but they have massive conventional superiority over their foes. That makes nations nervous and very hesitant to engage them. I didn't say the Chinese will fight for Pakistan . I said the India will "worry" about them, the extent of that depends on many things.

Pakistan doesn't need the Chinese to fight for us. We have enough fighting men to take on a nation that is more than 7× bigger than us. We just need a supply of advanced Chinese weapons systems which they most definitely will comply with to guard their key strategic assets all over Pakistan due to CPEC. There is a reason why the Chinese have initially invested $51 billion in Pakistan with many more billions earmarked for the coming years/decades. And the Chinese will not let their investment be damaged without taking appropriate measures.

The Indian military high command are FULLY aware of Pakistan's SAM and our thermonuclear capabilities which is why they refuse to attack Pakistan despite being at least 7× bigger than Pakistan and having abundant access to all the world's most advanced weapons systems whilst being denied that privilege ourselves:

What's there to get? For the 1st time in recorded human history a nation has repelled & fended off enemy neighbour that's more than 7x bigger than itself and that has abundant access to all the world's most advanced weapons systems whilst being denied that privilege itself. That is an unprecedented feat and a virtually impossible task to achieve. Yet Pakistan has been doing it for nearly 70 years.

Dude Japan has no desire for war, or even to aggressively pursue its interests. Burden that with an ageing population, poor growth and the fact the Japanese need to modernise and build their land and air arms, the last thing they will do is join a war. They already went down that route and it didn't end well. I was shocked to see they have lowest percentage of young folk who are willing to fight for their country.
The Philippines? Duterte has just finished his "turning point" visit to China, that's the end of that.
Vietnam will fight to protect territorial sovereignty, not join a collation of countries against the Chinese. Do remember they share a large land border and will have to forever worry about when everyone else either tires out or walks away from the war.
The US, yes you have a point but public opinion now wants disengagement with the whole world police thing. Why do you think Trump has had such a good run? Hilary will probably be the last of the hawks who wants to take it to various countries, the US public simply does not want the commitment of its sons and resources to parts of the world which do not effect the US directly.

Pakistan is procuring HQ-9s and Submarines from China which would put IAF and IN on the defensive. Also, PAF would sport J-31s at least 5 years ahead of IAF's FGFA.

Pakistan already has an upper hand with missiles NASR, Babur and RAAD.

India would have tough time finding answers to these.
