Balance Of Air Power In South Asia

.
The IAF is ahead of the PAF, in terms of aircraft and quality. Pilot training, experience etc, that's fine but it can't simply cover the conventional gap there is now. The PAF needs to make quite a substantial acquisition pronto, to lessen the gap. In Pakistan's favour is a smaller airspace, and the IAF has the Chinese to worry about, who at best they can have a credible deterrence against.
The economy means everything.

We can't be an arms importer like India, Pakistan will be forced to build its aircraft at home.

The day India faces two front war chinese will face 4 front war.. so I'm not gonna be worried much on it

There you go. Shifting the goalpost already. I asked about J10/J31 and you are posting about nuclear bombs. Go figure!

Not really. Just stating the facts that the likelihood of Pakistan getting the J-20 and J-31 is the same as the Chinese giving Pakistan a nuclear weapons capability :azn:

thats what they dont want to talk about and chinese skip that question aswell so for the valid reasons :sarcastic:

thing is no one helps a weaker agressor when he is loosing a war with a winning or the bigger party and when two opposing giants have to make peace the usually the middleman or the courtjester or the waeker third party is always made the sacrifical lamb and it has always played over and over again in the history (since this thread is about air power and pakistanies think they have the best fighter pilots the in WW2 Polls were instrumental in winning battle of britain for britain but we all kbow what happened after the warto Poland... think about it)

Sir with due respect , i disagree with you .. Actually if you imagine a Full Scale War Scenario , majority of the Air Battles will be fought over either Pakistani Air space, or on the border Area .. PAF will be invading Indian Air Space only when they find a lose Opportunity to bomb Air Field and SAM location , that too can be done by Stand off weapons like Raad .. if you see the Scenario all together , PAF is very well capable of Defending its skies against India ... but they do have Numerical Superiority which means very little if you consider the above situation + the very well Protected Net Centric Environment with 3 level Air Defense Systems ..

Can i say lol now!!!

First of all blk 52 still behind mki.. second mki is having around 70% available ratio compared to f16s 80% ratio and IAF is planning pushing it to 85% in coming years.

Please note the other beast so called mig29 and not to mention the rafale. Its indeed 3.1 ratio and i dint even mention the upgraded mirages. PAF won't able to hold it for a long time

Precisely. From a dogfight POV probably not. Which is why Pakistan has a very advanced and comprehensive missle system to shoot down advanced fighter jets to deny indian superiority over Pakistani airspace. If we didn't then india would have attacked Pakistan after mumbai 2008. That ratio you state has been well and truly nullified.

you are wrong a strong enemy always fights a WAR on his terms and not on your terms or your strong points and its not that only you have cruise or air launched cruise missiles or AWACS , SAMS or other such anty missile defnces ;)
