Featured Balakot and Pulwama inside job: More evidence emerges

This thread I see is about Arnab issue and Pulwama incident. But some people always try to derail a thread by quoting unrelated content. Never mind. That’s fine with me.

Col Babu and all the soldiers who laid down their lives were given last rites with full military honours.
What happened to Chinese soldiers? China accepted that it had also suffered losses but the soldiers remain unknown. Honouring their dead is a matter of honour known only to the honourable.

Coming back to the topic of this thread, I just mentioned the possibilities of the future regarding an act of Pakistan regarding India. No foul language used, no insinuations. But people still start digressing.

But it wouldn’t help when next Pulwama like incident happens and India strikes. That strike would be hard. That’s my only submission.

Nobody is De-Railing the Thread.

You were making supapowa assertions about what Indians are capable of doing, all I did was burst your bollywood bubble into Reality.

But!! We Get it, your going to hit Hard just like you hit that Mi17 killing 6 IAF personnel.
Yes you do. One that will make the hard decisions, one with vision and one that is admired by other world leaders.

The hardest decision with a vision was claiming Indian Farmers are Khalistanis, Pakistanis and Chinese..
Opps Did you leader actually Name China or Not??

I Guess Not. Now thats a Vision :enjoy:

Derailing a thread is by quoting unrelated content, words like supapawa, Bollywood, Hollywood etc etc. This happens when there is no valid argument but a person wants to just keep coming back to put a point. I wouldn’t quote any such stupid words.

No super power claims were made. It was just mentioned that India would strike hard. It was also accepted that Pakistan would retaliate back. I hope people read a comment before their eagerness to retaliate and answer took better of them.

During the Cold War and even now Hollywood made movies that portrayed west as the good and Russian block as the evil. That trend has continued even now, though a little subdued.
Bollywood is also doing that. It sells well and makes money for them too. Good part is that Bollywood has a good reach. Beauty of this whole thing is that it also is a potent soft power. The best part is to see tears rolling down the eyes of every other guy about success of Bollywood.

Every other Pakistani actor/ actress when asked laments about poor infrastructure in Pakistan about replicating the success of Bollywood. So Bollywood success mantra remains a role model even to large masses in Pakistan. Don’t ask me figures. I get this drift from listening to your own media.

Shooting down a chopper in fratricide, Bollywood movies, Supapawa, Abhinandan, fantastic tea, etc etc. Quote these as much as you all can.

I say again, India will come back and strike harder and deeper this time.

How is this a Not a Valid Argument?

You were keen on an Indian Response whereas I just pointed out the Last Indian response to Colonel Babu and other Indian Soldiers who died at the hands of Chinese was just banning Chinese Apps.

All I am doing is giving you a Reality Check.

I understand your predicament about this.

However if your still keen on Bharati Bravado than please note you saw our response on 27th Feb 2019. If anything happens like Balakot Strikes again than get ready to be bombed back to Vedic ages.

When state of Pakistan at the highest levels of power is saying that Pulwama was a false flag, these new revelations from within India should not leave any doubt in anyone mind. If Indians in their hyper nationalism are deliberately ignoring this, they will keep on losing their men and face not only by Pakistan military operations like swift retort but by their own Indian establishment, as happened in Pulwama.

Actually, they will go to any level merely to teach Pakistan a lesson...be it killing their own, lynching minorities or Kashmiris being killed extrajudicially or attacking Pakistan. For that grudge and enmity, it doesn't matter if 40 jawans at once are killed by their own in Pulwama because at least they elected an extremist who has an old thirst of blood for Hindutva. My sympathies for saner Indians and those who could have never imagined such an India today.

Selective memory and quotes can’t win an argument.

A certain number of Chinese died too in that skirmish. What did China do in retaliation?
At least Col Babu got honourable last rites.

Banning Chinese apps was just one of the many steps taken by the Indian Government. A little googling can bring out other steps taken to those who are inclined to know about them.
India is not interested in starting a war. Not with China, not with Pakistan or anyone else. Peaceful co-existence is the starting point of it’ constitution.

Is China interested in starting a war? Not at all. It knows that it can prove to be quite bad.
India has got into a long haul with Chinese. Military posturing is just one facet.
Yes. China is a powerful adversary. So no knee jerk reactions here. China has taken a pangaa at wrong place.

Coming back to Pakistan. I accept and know that, Pakistan is capable of Swift retort and more. But still India will strike again and again and again if Pakistan doesn’t desist from what it did in Pulawama. Arnab gate or not.

Images of WhatsApp conversations rereleased by Mumbai Police. Apparently Republic TV's Arnab knew about Balakot air strikes. At the same time he celebrates death of 40 Indian soldiers in Pulwama calling it a victory for India. The conversation indicates how inside job helped BJP win elections.

I am wondering about two things:
1) The families of these soldiers still think that Pakistan did that to their sons.
2) Indian people still think that Pakistan should be attacked anyway(even if we didn't do any terrorist activity in India).

Wah. Kia log hain yeh.

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday said purported WhatsApp conversations of an Indian anchor published in Indian media prove that the Modi government used the Balakot incident for electoral gains — a point he had already revealed to the world in the 2019 UNGA session.
The premier was referring to recently emerged transcripts of purported WhatsApp conversations between firebrand Indian anchor Arnab Goswami and Pratho Dasgupta — the incarcerated head of ratings company Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) — which suggest that the television host knew about Modi government's plan to stage a military strike in Pakistan days before the February 26, 2019 event occurred.
In a series of tweets, the prime minister recalled that in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly in 2019, he had told the international community that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had "used the Balakot crisis for domestic electoral gains".

"Latest revelations from communication of an Indian journalist, known for his warmongering, reveal the unholy nexus between the Modi govt and Indian media that led to a dangerous military adventurism to win an election in utter disregard for the consequences of destabilising the entire region," the prime minister tweeted.
He said that Pakistan had "averted a larger crisis by a responsible, measured response to Balakot". However, the Modi government's actions are turning India into a "rogue state", he added.
He said that the India's sponsorship of terrorism in Pakistan, the human rights abuse carried out by the Indian forces in occupied Kashmir and a 15-year long disinformation campaign to discredit nations in conflict with New Delhi, particularly Pakistan "all stand exposed".
"Now India's own media has revealed the dirty nexus that is pushing our nuclearised region to the brink of a conflict it cannot afford," the premier said.
"I want to reiterate that my government will continue to expose India's belligerent designs towards Pakistan and Modi government's fascism. Int(ernational) community must stop India from its reckless, militarist agenda before the Modi government's brinkmanship pushes our region into a conflict it cannot control."
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that India stood further exposed with the leaked chats revealing a "staggering new low".
"Staging ‘false flag’ ops, stoking hyper-nationalism, unholy BJP-crony media nexus and endangering regional security. RSS-BJP rogue regime have no credibility going to any lengths to get to and stay in power," he said.

'Bigger than a normal strike'
Last week, the Mumbai police submitted evidence in a case pertaining to alleged manipulation of television ratings. The evidence included transcripts of purported WhatsApp conversations between Goswami and Dasgupta which suggest that the former was aware of the Indian government's plans to stage a military strike in Pakistan.
According to excerpts of the purported conversations published by Scroll.in, Goswami texted Dasgupta on Feb 23, 2019, saying: “On another note something big will happen.”
After a few messages on other matters, Dasgupta asked, “Dawood?”, referring to a notorious gangster who is wanted in several cases.
The conversation continued:
Arnab Goswami: “No sir Pakistan. Something major will be done this time.”
Partho Dasgupta: “Good.”
Partho Dasgupta: “It’s good for big man in this season.”
Partho Dasgupta: “He will sweep polls then.”
Partho Dasgupta: “Strike? Or bigger”
Arnab Goswami: “Bigger than a normal strike. And also on the same time something major on Kashmir. On Pakistan the government is confident of striking in a way that people will be elated. Exact words used.”
Three days later, an Indian airforce plane invaded Pakistan's airspace and went back after dropping its payload in a forest in Balakot. The Indian media portrayed the incident as a major offence against Pakistan and the then BJP government claimed that "more than 250 terrorists" were killed in the air strikes in Balakot on "training camps of the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM)". In reality, no casualties had occurred.
The incident brought both nuclear-armed nations on the brink of war. The next day, Pakistan responded by downing two Indian planes, one of which crashed within Pakistani territory. Its pilot was taken into custody but was released a day later as a gesture of peace.
A day after the episode, excerpts from the alleged chats show, Dasgupta texted Goswami asking whether this was what he was hinting at.
Answering in the affirmative, Goswami added: "More to come".
According to TheWire, these purported conversations, which cover topics from the Pulwama attack to Kashmir's annexation, are just a part of the mammoth transcript which shows Goswami was aware of the Indian government's plans well in advance.

Soon after the Pulwama attack on February 14, 2019, in which 40 soldiers were killed, Goswami allegedly wrote to Dasgupta acknowledging how the attack had helped his channel. “This attack we have won like crazy,” he allegedly wrote the same evening at 5:43pm, according to excerpts published by TheWire.
These latest reports are particularly damning for Goswami, who is known for aggressively backing up Modi and his Hindu nationalist policies during his nightly shows, often shouting down opponents.
Critics have long accused Republic TV of pandering to Modi's agenda at a time when other media channels say press freedom is under threat.

India's disinformation campaign
Last year, Brussels-based EU DisinfoLab in an investigation titled The Indian Chronicles, exposed an Indian disinformation network operating since 2005 that aims to reinforce pro-Indian and anti-Pakistan (and anti-Chinese) feelings in India.
The network is working internationally to consolidate the power and improve the image of India and damage reputation of rival countries so that ultimately India may benefit from more support from international institutions such as the European Union and the UN.
To do so, the network used fake personas of a dead human rights activist and journalists, and also tried to impersonate regular media and press agencies such as the EU Observer, the Economist and Voice of America.
The network also used letterhead of the European Parliament, registered websites under avatars with fake phone numbers, provided fake addresses to the United Nations and created publishing companies to print books of the think tanks they owned.
Overall, an entire network of over 500 fake local media outlets in 95 countries helped reproduce negative iterations about Pakistan (or China). In total, the operation has covered 116 countries and nine regions.
The revelations came a year after the same group uncovered a network of obscure NGOs and think tanks that assist over 200 ‘fake’ news outlets managed by an Indian network to influence the EU and UN with content critical of Pakistan.

Maybe India didn’t hit anything because Modi didn’t want to start an acutal war.

Maybe India didn’t hit anything because Modi didn’t want to start an acutal war.
I agree with you. That is possible. It also depends on which side a person is and which narrative a person wants to believe.

I believe that Pakistan also avoided hitting anything for the same reason.

The mood is changing in India, sanghis seem to be on the run. But Modi and BJP has eroded the system deep. Pakistan has faced the brute of false flag operations, fake surgical strikes, international propaganda campaigns, raw sponsored proxy wars from Afghanistan and Iran, now its time that Indians who were quite face the music.

I am loving it.

The 40 jawans were primarily from lower-caste communities. In all, they comprised 19 jawans from Other Backward Classes (or backward castes), seven from Scheduled Castes, five from Scheduled Tribes, four from upper-caste backgrounds, one high-caste Bengali, three Jat Sikhs, and one Muslim. So, only five out of the 40 jawans, or 12.5 percent, came from Hindu upper-caste backgrounds.

This figure bears out a truism starkly visible in India at present—the Hindutva nationalism of the urban middle-class, largely spearheaded by right-wing groups, conveniently exploits the sacrifices of the downtrodden.

Two among the slain jawans, Sanjay Rajput and Nitin Shivaji Rathod, both of whom resided in Maharashtra, were from the Vimukta Jatis community, which is identified as a socially and educationally backward caste and included in the central OBC list for Maharashtra. Rajput, however, was unable to secure a caste certificate, and qualified for the CRPF through the general category. Excluding Rajput and the Muslim jawan, only eight, or 20 percent, joined the CRPF through the general-category quota.

https://caravanmagazine.in/magazine/2021/01
The 40 jawans came from 16 states across India. Five of the eight in the general category were from Uttarakhand and Punjab. Of the two CRPF jawans from Uttarakhand, one was a Brahmin and the other a Rajput, and three out of the four casualties from Punjab were Jat Sikhs. The three other jawans from upper-caste communities comprised two Brahmins from Uttar Pradesh, and one Sudip Biswas from West Bengal, whose brother-in-law, Samapta Biswas, told me that his family is neither Brahmin nor Scheduled Caste, “but higher caste.”

Samapta made it a point to clarify the family’s social identity because the name “Biswas” is used by several castes. He said that he and others in the family are wage labourers based in the district of Nadia, in West Bengal. Samapta noted that the family feels compelled, at times, to migrate out of Nadia to find work, and that Sudip’s salary used to serve as comforting insulation in times of financial despair.

Maninder Singh Attri, a member of the Ramdasia sect, which is classified as a Scheduled Caste community, was the fourth jawan from Punjab who died in the Pulwama attack. His cousin, Sunil Dutt, told me that Attri’s family possesses land measuring less than one-fourth of an acre, and that the slain jawan’s younger brother also serves in the CRPF. “Dalits lacking in resources and social security opt for risky jobs such as security forces and sewer cleaning,” Dutt, a human-rights activist based in Dinanagar in Punjab’s Gurdaspur district, told me. “Isn’t it strange that those who are raising the slogan of nationalism live in comfort and their children do not have to make sacrifices for the nation?”

Dutt added that even the Jat Sikhs who opt for the security forces do so out of compulsion to earn a livelihood, because many in the community work as marginal farmers. His words were borne out in the case of Kulwinder Singh, one of the Jat Sikh jawans from Punjab who joined the forces to support his family. Singh’s father, Darshan, said the family owned less than two acres of land. “Kulwinder’s mother is in such a terrible state,” Darshan said.
