BAF Receives Advance Chinese Air Def System

BD seems to have received the Chinese Air Def System HQ-7B or FM-90B. That would make BAF the first export client for this system. Photographs are available, but unfortunately I don't know how to paste them. But the BAF was seen moving some of these thrrugh Dhaka city on 09 Nov which was a traffic-free day due to Eid holidays.

You saw it yourself ? then its a great news indeed . this system is the first mobile air defence ssytem of bangladshi arm forces other then navy who have been using this kind in their frigate

BAF seems to have received the FM-90B advanced air defense system from China. It is an excellent news. It seems that Bangladesh is the 1st export destination of this ADS. BAF does not immediately want to procure many expensive planes for lack of money. But, it wants to spread this ADS throughout the country to offset any missile attacks on our vital assets like military instllations, tank formation in the NW, ports, airports, airplanes on the tarmac, bridges and many others.

This will not be the only mobile battery, there will be a few hundred others, too, after BAF test fires the present ones.

FM-90B is an improved version of the French Crotale NG SHORADS. Some batteries were used in the recent Air Def exercise. I understand BD plans to induct many more. Yes, we will definitely see this in one of the armed forces parades.
