This a positive news, I think Bangladesh has decided to first develop network of short and medium range SAMs before jumping to high altitude SAMs systems. I think medium altitude SAMs are more need of the hour perhaps slowly steadily. You people got your self a reliable Friend better reliable government to government contacts can lead to soft long term loans for such system to cover vast area of Defenses.

This is excellent news. China is our real friend and it should have full membership in SAARC.

And by the way, this isn't for air force, it is for army. Typically, self propelled AA vehicles are operated by the army. Not air force.

Those things can be very useful to get along with armor formations, and defend from aerial threats.

Most probably we are first customer who are going to operate them from land either by our army or by air force.

Bangladesh also uses naval version of fm90 in BNS KHALID BIN WALID AND BNS OSMAN from long ago. This is land version we were talking about.
