BAF Buying JF-17?

Bangladesh defense forum which normally comes out with breaking news about BAF, is reporting that BAF is to acquire JF-17s! If true then I would say this is to offset the fall out from a total sell out to Modi in the defense pact to be signed.

well, I don't see any issues getting military hardware from any country as long as its compatible with Forces Goal 2030..... its not the first time Bangladesh bought military hardware from Pakistan.... even under this Govt..... and as Bangladesh is currently negotiating with India, that doesn't leave any doubts that Bangladesh can deal with anyone regarding defence as long as its compatible with Forces Goal 2030....

anyway, as I said, the upcoming deal with India has given Bangladesh a lot more options.....

JFT will have moved on by then. Additionally pilot behind the seat matters a lot and India just doesn't cut it there. That's a well known fact

same thing.... it opens more options in front of Bangladesh.... and also shuts doors for "critics" right before crucial defence deals....
