Gandhi was a weak thug. He was overhyped and propped up by British on suggestion of Congress party because they found him manageable.

Also, Gandhi never asked for 'Total independence'. He was toothless from beginning. Only after armed revolution of Bhagat singh started and Indian youths started moving towards him, Gandhi changed his tune to 'total swaraj'.

You did not even read properly about Bhagat Singh.....Bhagat Singh and other members of HSRA were shifting towards socialism and decided to give up sporadic revolutionary acts. They understood it was more important to work for people, make them capable of maintain independence is more important than sporadic revolutionary activities. Gandhi. knew it long ago....political independence did not have any meaning when most of the population barring few elits do not know its meaning. It is Gandhi who arose political conciousness among Indians which was required before demanding total independence. Otherwise there would be many smaller states instead of India....

Support Baba Ramdev or not...but this UPA government is the worse in terms of corruption.Why did they kick those protesting in Ramlila ground?? Was that unconstitutional?This shows their insecurity..Even Anna Hazare and members of the Lok Pal Draft Committee are openly criticizing this government.
They are like openly supporting Corruption by not drafting a powerful Lokpal bill,no wonder Anna Hazare is still angry.

Lokpal bill will be drafted very soon,as for regional languages for higher education it is a utopian dream in the age of globalization.This is not a homogenous country like germany,france,china where one native language is dominant.So its not practical.
