The satellite will be used for intelligence gathering and military & security operations.

Indeed our stallite program failing utterly GokTurk-2 supposed to be launched in 2012(and GokTurk-3 in 2013) yet its still not even complete.Hopefully when our stallite program matured enough these kind of deals won't be necessary so we can turn this stallite off and send it to sun , god knows how many switches Israel put into that thing.
