Can't compare a US sales team to a Pakistani one, it's an unfair comparison. The US team can exert far more pressure almost forcing nations to but their hardware due to the economic leverage they hold. All Pakistan can do and for that matter the rest of the world is smile tell people how nice we are.

No, musharraf's treachery happened to him. You know kargil and then coup and the horrible treatment afterwards and then exile and the accompanying tortures musharraf subjected the family to. That's what happened.

Not that that's any excuse at all for what he did after his return. Man of his stature -3 times prime minister, 2 times chief minister- should have thought of country first, second and also last! Should have gotten over self. Sadly he didn't. Unfortunately he surrounded himself with wrong kind of advisers and as a result his 3rd term was the worst one of all 3.

On the topic itself, one can never be too careful when it comes to israeli involvement. But perhaps, given our close relations with azerbaijan, we can maybe keep a decent representation there to keep an eye on things?

I hope this news is true. The JF-17 will get another chance to be battle tested in A2G and possibly A2A if the Armenians so choose.

Putin just came up with a statement on Twitter that because the conflict is in what is considered Azerbaijan’s territory, Russia need not intervene.

If it is a rush order, from our current Stocks, it will probably be Block II aircraft and will be excellent marketing for the Thunder.

BTW, does the JF-17 have a NATO codename? I’m guessing it may end up being called the “JEFF”, as it is called by many on DCS.

NATO code names usually start with F for fighters. FISHBED, FLANKER, FANTAN, FULCRUM, etc. The proper way to write them is in all caps, though common usage on the internet does not follow this. Lately they have stopped announcing the names to the world, so we really don't know what they call 'em. Supposedly the J-10 is the "FIREBIRD" but this is urban legend.

That's two squadrons. Kamra cant produce that many in short time since the need is now. Maybe Chengdu will step in.

I think we might be looking at releasing some block 2s from PAF own inventory just like french provided Indians, the initial batch of Rafaels from their own active units.

Even block 3 is simply a assembly job. All the components are available elsewhere in other jets. There is no secret tech here which pakistan kept secret like the USA keep F22 raptor secrets.
