I want to see you as a global mod here too. @WebMaster and @ Bangladeshis, what are your opinion on Kalu Vhai as a mod? If you like, then propose him to the mods please.

Thanks for your kind words and suggestion, but being a mod here will take time away from much more important work, so I am not interested. We only have 24 hours in a day and can only do so much.

Not under current scenario. AL, BNP, Armed forces and Jamat are the most organized forces and in that order. We need to create another organized force outside of these 3 and prevent hijacking of this force and the armed forces by any foreign country. It will take decades, but it can be done. That is the only solution.

Majority of the folks in the army are BNP supporters. Some are Jamaat. Very few are Awami though.

Reforming the 2 parties is much better a solution.

Indeed, you hit the nail on the head. We have become the laughing stock of the entire PDF community. We definitely need a mod from among Bangladeshi's in this section, but Indian section does not have one either, so we are not the only section with this problem. If we do get an offer for a mod, I recommend that we vote among ourselves among interested candidates. I am not interested. Thanks to all who recommended me.

Till we have a mod, some words of advice for Bangladeshi posters:

- please do not get provoked by flame baits from trolls and propaganda artists, it is best to ignore
- control your passion, an angry person is a vulnerable person
- read more and learn, before commenting
- when expressing your opinion, be precise, concise and to the point
- always use verified and credible sources to back up your arguments
- avoid getting into online fights, using abusive language and insulting remarks
- if you do not know well on any subject, it is best not to comment, rather ask questions

these few tips should improve quality of posts and improve our image in front of others.

Kalu Miah would not be a good idea for moderator.

- He is a friend of Al-Zakir and M_Saint and has telephone conversations with them, so would not be fair and impartial e.g. when Al-Zakir calls people "kut*a" as he often does.

- He is rabidly anti-Indian. Being anti-Indian is one thing but when you consistently go online to call for the dismemberment of a sovereign United Nations country (e.g. Kalu_Miah and his calls for Bangladesh to help separatists wage war against India and separate the north-east) and a neighbour that gives the wrong impression of us Bangladeshis who are generally a peaceful people. We do not want war. We do not want to break up our neighours. We want peace, trade and co-operation.

As far as I understand it this forum encourages reconciliation between south Asian countries and not war e.g. Zaid Hamid who calls for the break up of India would never be made a moderator here but a sensible and educated Pakistani who though he might be very critical of India would not call for war or its dismemberment.

- He also has a problem with the existence of Bangladesh as an independent nation and in the past (before this current anti-Indian phase) essentially called for Bangladesh to be part of India, ask @asad71 if you don't believe me and he will tell you about his Saarc1 ideas, prior to his later "ASEAN"+ idea

I think for the time being there is no suitable Bangladeshi moderator as the moderate and sensible ones e.g Iajdani, UKBengali etc wouldn't be interested.

However the forum administration will decide and if Kalu_Miah and his friends are successful in their lobbying for him to become a moderator then so be it.

Since I am on the ignore list, I guess Mr. Hammer did not see that I already expressed no interest to become mod.

As for the personal attacks against me, he has watched me for many years in many different internet forums and as my position and stance evolved on many different issues. Very few people understand my high flying theories, but it is easy to attack me due to my unconventional positions based on those theories.

If anyone is curious and have any question, feel free to ask.

this is no one would make a good moderator in this forum, everyone here is either BNP or awami league and all of us are hugely polarized, you cannot find an unbiased mod from this sub forum, not one. Loki is the closest thing you will find to an unbiased one, but he is also to the right of the political spectrum.

again u r judging people. look hammer we r not a threat 2 india. we have a little country with huge poor muslim population.

they r glad we r not part of them anymore. so they have no problem as long as our govt remains loyal 2 them. if u r a religious

muslim u should know what is happening in kashmir since 47. we r not a powerful force in south asia so neither pak india cares

about us. now as far as mod is concern officially we r an ally of india. that explains everything.
