Awami League's Situation

False flaggers aside why would any BD care to be a mod here. It's a Pakistani forum. Some lively discussions to be had here sometimes... Just enjoy it. This is not a BD owned forum as such fairly irrelevant from our perspective.

You are moving in the right direction, but it may not work out exactly the way you have laid out the road map in above. For further discussions on this, I would recommend you and others to come to bangladesh2050 site. We will go from there.

Kalu bhai, after contemplating some times, I have devised a solution on how to elect a Virtual Parliament member (the most difficult task of the project I think).
As we have 300 seats in the real parliament, suppose we want to elect a Virtual Parliament member for the seat of Dhaka-1 Asan/area.
Suppose Dhaka-1 seat is comprised of Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara and Bashundhara.

To start,

suppose @Loki and you want to be a virtual parliament of Dhaka-1 seat.

then at first, suppose from Banani you want to be a virtual parliament MP of Dhaka-1 seat.

Once you opt for to be elected for the Dhaka-1 seat, you won't be allowed to stand from any other seat.

then at first you will release a video on the website (virtual parliament.bd) where you would explain what is Virtual Parliament and how would you represent the people Banani and their problems as a MP of Virtual parliament. In the first video you would request the people of Banani to email you their problems and expectations of them to a leader of Banani.

then you will also make another video of 30 minutes where you would explain how you would solve the problem of Banani, where people will judge you, your expression, representation, your leadership attributes, and the methods of solving problems of Banani people, like how would you stop the commercialization of residential area of Banani.

If, after watching your video, people think that you are an eligible to represent the people of Banani, then the people of Banani would go to VirtualParliament.bd and vote you using their national voter ID.

Suppose 10000 people of Banani Voted you as representative of Banani, now suppose Loki also releases a video, where he would explain how he would solve the problems of Banani people. Suppose Loki has got 15000 votes as his way of explaining and solving ideas are smarter than you. So Banani will be represented by Loki.

Now as everyone does not have Internet and the idea of Virtual Parliament in Banani, so the supporters/fan of Loki would campaign for Loki to vote Loki to be a virtual parliament member and spread the ideas of Loki using their portable Internet device like Laptop. In this way, your 10000 supporters also would campaign for you if they like your idea to server Banani area. Supporters of Loki sill can vote you (Kalu miah) until a final day, but not you and loki at the same time. This website will be designed in that way.

In the same way a few candidates (who can give speech like a educated leader and have ability to solve social problems) from Gulshan, Baridhara and Bashudhara respectively would release videos where people of those areas would vote them watching their videos.

Suppose, Me from Bashundhara, Loki for Banani, X from Baridhara and Y from Gulshan have got the maximum votes after 1 years of campaigning.

Now from this 4 candidates (Loki, me, X and Y), one will be the Virtual Parliament member of Dhaka-1 seat. Watching the final video (where candidates would explain how they would server Dhaka-1) from 4 candidates as a candidate of Dhaka-1 seat, people from Bashundhara, Banani, Baridhara and Gulshan vote them to elect the Final Virtual Parliament MP of Dhaka-1.

Suppose X won the seat for Dhaka-1, and Loki is the runners up of the Dhaka -1. Loki is the opposition leader of Dhaka-1. There will be no opposition party in our Virtual Parliament system.

In this way we will elect 300 MPs from all over the country, through spreading our concept of efficient one party democratic system using the leader-people interaction videos.

Once our Virtual parliament system gets huge public support for its transparency and efficiency, we will take the Virtual MPs to the election commission, and in a future election Virtual MPs will take part in the real Parliament Election and would fight against BNP/BAL candidates as discrete candidates from 300 seats. And one day the ideology based two party system would be abolished.

In the mean time we should give awards/profits to our Virtual MPs so that they do not lose their interests, I see the whole process as a reality show like Close UP 1 where people elect them watching their song/skills/representations.

Once some one can be a Virtual MP, it means his local people support him and it is likely that he would also win the real election for that specific seat.

Sorry if I am acting funny, but google, facebook started form a little state. Actually, so many advantages of your No Party Democracy idea encouraged me to think on it and compelled me to made this idea of Virtual Parliament to real Parliament.

this theory will eliminate the ideological devision of the country which is dangerously prevailing right now! And the MPs will not come from any party to divide the nation.

Sounds great. But complex. Yet intriguing.

I personally do not follow any specific ideology. Actually, I don't even believe in the concept of very large central governments. They are always prone to corruption and inefficiency.

My intention is for the entire nation to progress, not only in Dhaka. Altogether regardless of religion, ethnicity and even political ideology. A house divided will always remain weak and vulnerable.

I of-course strongly agree about this dangerous ideological division in my previous posts in other threads regarding this....abomination we are looking at.

Do you know what JI's biggest mistake was? Not accepting criticism and acknowledging (maybe not all not all) them. Sure, AL and BNP has its faults as well as those hujuge Bangalis. But living in denial forever never gets anyone that far. No one. I really, really hope we all don't fall into that hole.

I rarely sincerely hope by the way
