Alcohol should be banned completely. No licenses to bars should be given, not even 5star hotels

How are the police, ministers and the whole nexus get their bonus money??? Problem is they will never let it happen. In India we tried prohibition in different states and it did not work because our attitude towards alcohol. Only in gujrat prohibition is still in use. Unless you have your people who are with you then it will not succeed. You will be creating a parallel economy that will have problems of its own... like smuggling, mafia, criminal gangs, tax evading, job loses, spurious liquor dens etc.

Well here most people will support banning it, i believe. And if there is tight security, alcohol smuggling would be really hard. They did it a few days ago for drugs and that significantly lessened smuggling of drugs for a few days. Bangladeshis are not serious about their alcohol, a complete ban would just completely end consumption.

Ministers have much bigger sources to get money, so does the police.

Banning bribe-taking, talking lies and stealing shoes from Mosques should take precedence over banning alcohol. Alcohol should be banned alongwith other items of addiction, such as, cigarette smoking, tobacco chewing, phencydile, ganja, charash, nashwar and some others. Why is it that only alcohol should be banned and other addiction materials should be sold freely? Why should there be a double standard?
