Australian prime minister to visit China

I'm fine with Australia as long as they continue selling nonrenewable resources that will never come back to us, for worthless paper. They're also a great place to dump our corrupt officials. Long live Australia.

Worthless paper? The Australian dollar is worth more then USD. Selling China our resources has made us very very very rich, which has built our high standard of living, the second highest in the world to be exact.

Now i don't know about this "dumping our corrupt officials"

I don't think below_freezing was attacking the Australian dollar specifically, but rather all forms of currency in general.

And yes, Australia has done extremely well for itself in terms of standard of living. A great example for any nation to follow.

Where did that paper come from? USD, which is toilet paper. This toilet paper incidently can get lots of unrenewable resources from Australia. Back in the day, you had to trade grain, gold, coal, etc. for things. Today, you trade USD toilet paper that your government has decided to foolishly stock up on. I'm not blaming Australia, I'm blaming the government, but at least they woke up and are starting to spend the USD.

Where did that paper come from?
The Royal Australian Mint in Canberra, printed by the Australian Reserve Bank.

USD, which is toilet paper
Our Money didn't come from the U.S and isn't connected to the USD. I am shocked to think you thought that. The only connection is that both currencies use the word "dollar" like many other countries around the world.

Read Above. The AUD is not USD.

I know. You act as if your own country doesn't use USD as a base currency. The whole world does.

Today, you trade USD toilet paper that your government has decided to foolishly stock up on.
China pays for our resources in USD, yes, just like any other country BUT they have to pay more to match our exchange rate.

For example, 1.00 AUD = 1.07367 USD So just say China buys $1 million AUD of minerals from Australia, they have to pay us 1.73,602.78 USD to match the exchange rate because the Australia dollar is worth more then the USD. So in reality, our resources are more expensive, and China has to pay more USD then our government takes that USD and exchanges it into AUD.

So no, our government is not "stockpiling" USD.

I think you should go educate yourself on subjects before talking about them. You are constantly making incorrect and factless statements that i have to correct constantly.

I don't think you understood my post. Your English comprehension has severe deficiencies and your attitude is very defensive. Is this all the Australian education system has to offer?

They are lots of pretty small ones that one wouldn't even suspect. There's around 50 mini volcanos dotted around auckland.
I think none of the volcanos in NZ are over 3000m. But I've been to Mt Taranaki and it has nice shapes.

Rangitoto island is also quite nice and good view of auckland city from top but taking the small tractor-train is advised (about 50 NZD), unless you want to walk on rocks for 2hrs. Can get there by 20min ferry from downtown.

Mt Rapehu is un characteristic, only mention because I've been there (there's a ski resort, went with 3 friends and an old car, stayed at Taumarunui, small towns here have nice atmosphere).

Maybe also visit Mount Ngauruhoe (haven't been there).

You might also be interested in hot springs and steam eruption. Can visit Rotorua (Do the Luge, quite fun) and also see Taupo Lake.

Don't feel NZ really have outstanding shopping centres compared to other places - people come here because view is great (more so in south island, perhaps).

You can also check out the hobbit's house.

I am reading your posts correctly. If i am misunderstanding your posts, then YOU are the one who is not writing them correctly and in a coherent manner.

My English is perfect.

As for me being defensive, i just don't like it when people post incorrect information and factless statements, so i respond with corrections.
