F-18s hornet and super hornet :rofl:and Tejas tooo:rofl:

I don't think they are going to retire Super Hornets since they are relatively new. It is a very capable fighter.

its all ok to wish for some of this . but two questions come to mind.
1) how will you pay for this hardware?
2) will the Australian government even be willing to sell it to you?

Dear Indian friends , i think the question of how we will pay for the finances , is ridiculous , we have 20-40 billion in reserves I am sure we can find a way to generate 400-500 million to pay for 80-100 helicopters

I think your general response comes from a fear that we will try to avenge the 1971 war with these helicopters but I think we are beyond that phase , and we are clearly looking towards a democratic resolution as both nuclear nations cannot go to war the damage will be irreplaceable

The helicopters are mainly to assit with operations against the rouge intruders coming in openly from Afghanistan and disrupting energy projects so helicopters are a vital asset to have against such mobile rat force.

And also 40-50 of these helicopters would also serve in national duties to safe lifes and provide supplies in much needed areas

So please just because we are getting 80-100 helicopters it does not mean that you have to feel a little light headed the balance is fairly equal

We have 20-30 helicopters that are old , so the 80-100 helicopters would replace aging fleet and also add a small number to forces to mobilize them better to protect national interest
