Australias Super Hornet Tests JSOW Guided Weapons

Super Hornet aircraft from No. 1 Squadron conducted their first live weapon trials at the Woomera Test Range, north of Adelaide. The JSOW test is part of Australias new Super Hornets testing their deployment capabilities.
Five F/A-18F Super Hornets and about 100 aircrew, maintenance and support personnel from No. 1 Squadron will operate from RAAF Edinburgh during the squadrons first deployment away from their main operating base at RAAF Amberley, Queensland.
