how can india remain pro-west and pro-russia at a time? can anyone sit on two different boats at a time? what will happen when two boats move apart?

India will not go against Russia and India has no reason to go against the West. We have no issues with anyone including Pakistan/China. It is Pakistan that is obsessed with India and not the other way round. Why then should we chose a side and complicate matters? We're closer to Russia for reasons well known to everyone but this does not mean that we're willing to alienate the West. The only thing India needs to do to survive and survive well is to set her house in order (corruption & governance) , focus on science & technology big time and maintain a friendly relationship with everyone.

True. So India need to eventually decide whether it wants to be pro west or pro Russia. Pro Russia means that any China/India dispute would be mediated by Russia. And India might not like the result of the mediation.

In this way, a boy will go to their country and introduce US culture and hence US's influence will rise in that country.

there is a reason, why they could build colonies across the globe. there is a reason why they still own the entire globe. there is a reason why they have the highest iq among all other humans. they, sometimes i really think, are the god's chosen people. what we think today, they thought centuries ago. what we do today, they did centuries ago. these are not exaggerations, these are facts.

Why would Russia support India over China. As I said, it stays neutral. If it is any other country, Russsia may support India. Russia needs China to counter the west. India is not as anti west as China.Moreover, on any serious issue, in order to veto any move, India is helpless. Sure Russia would be alarmed as it's major ally would suffer..so, at the most Russia will try to solve/mediate between India and China.
