"The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been informed that Australia will not be coming to Pakistan for a one-day series scheduled to be held in March-April this year, The Sydney Morning Heraldreported on Sunday."

Lets be honest, Pakistan has a long and difficult road ahead. The new government will try (and I hope it will succeed), but things are far from satisfactory at the present time. It may take many years before things are noticeably better.

here's the real reason (it's called indirect diplomatic maneuvering):

australians, being a staunch u.s. ally, is expected to pull off stunts like this to persuade Pakistan to give its sugar daddy uncle sam more say in CPEC which is an impossibility, just not gonna happen. the good ol white boys (and their miniskirt wearing indian cheerleaders) need to stop living in the early 2000s, their relevance is finished...
