Concerns are noted, but as the ISPR briefing pointed out, CAP's were in the air for multiple detections as they occurred. What I've read is 5-7 minutes response time for CAP's to get in the air. Given the speed of fighter jets, they would still have time to cross the LoC and remain in Pakistani airspace for several minutes before engagement range.

One could argue that this is where LR SAM batteries deployed to cover large chunks of the border would be extremely useful.
Why were they not chased across LoC in IoK?
Why were they not engaged by BVR missiles? After they entered AK, Pak has all the rights to chase and fire at them!

so you dont feel bad when your jawans die ?? great. as expected from you. As far as win is concerned then please let Kashmiris fight while we keep embarrassing you so that you feel like winning all the time. Don't cry about the intursion then.
For muslims our jawans are shaheed :).

What about Medium range SAMs ,,,,,, what about short range ,,,,,, what about MANPADs and what about AA Guns...… not a single shoot had been fire from our side...…This very fact make me more worry …....
Ofcourse PAF need time to reach target place if Jets are not in Air already...… But for this very reason , to cover this time gap Armies around the world have Airdefence systems ……

Because as the DG ISPR already said, they were only cleared to fire if military installations were actually targeted.

Let me clarify something here. @waz you might want to read it as well.

You guys go on the internet and search how many times Russian aircraft violated Turkish airspace, how each time NATO did nothing, until finally Turkey took a unilateral step to shoot down the Russian aircraft. Nations don't just shoot enemy aircraft on day 1. A narrative is built, precedent is set, and a pattern is determined. Only after repeat violations does a nation decide to shoot down an enemy aircraft.

Here I am not taking about PAF crossing over IOK and chasseing and shooting those mirages ..

you cannot shoot an air plane coming few KM inside your border, unless you are in the state of war, Pakistan govt should declare we are in the state of war with India to give them a message next time few feet inside and you will be shot.

Fair enough you’re right , but the concern here is that there was an attack and damage.

Yes, it's their bread and butter, but you can't change the ground realities:

1. Detection on radar.
2. Assessment of whether scramble is needed
3. Scramble orders issued
4. Time to get Scramble airborne
5. Time for Scramble to get within engagement range

Were those steps followed? Yes, and the fact that the incursion was limited to a few minutes would indicate that the response time was good. Any further improvements would require an LR SAM battery to engage while CAP was getting within engagement range.
Even my coffee will go ice cold by the time your steps will be completed.
During heightened tensions and war situation, crafts are scrambled after detection as per SOP. They dont wait for assessment and orders FORM air HQ.

one thing Indians need to understand about such areas in Pakistan that the population is disperse in various small towns or villages, and everyone knows who is living where, so killing such a huge number of people and no one come out as claiming that they saw or heard anything is highly unlikely , there is no way Pakistan army can stop people from visiting the dropped sites or sharing some evidence on media or social media .

The damage according to DG ISPR is almost non-existent. So it should not be a concern. What IS a concern is our utter inability to counter what is a narrative built out of pure lies by India. They are describing swimming pools and shooting ranges at the terrorist camp!!!! And we can't even counter that?
