It is too scared to exercise its authority due to the Army's blackmail, but by Law, it does have it.

Who will dare cut the defense budget? The Finance Minister was imperiously summoned to the GHQ and told to pay up whatever was demanded. Now it is up to the nation to provide the sacrifice in toil, sweat and tears to raise the funds at cost of their own already lagging social development.

Agreed it should not go unnoticed .... "make them pay the price legally' ...... I condemn the attack on HM, but it does not give him or his institution right to charge an institution of National Security with falsify & bassless accusations.

Actually its the other way around. Hamid Mir has to prove in court that ISI did it.
