State Religion is a Declaration. The spirit of the constitution should be religious as to be treated as one.

The objective Resolution by the state of Pakistan as formulated and incorporated in 1956. Does that hold up in the Bangladesh constitution?

Sovereignty as defined and empowered in the constitution belongs to God or man?

The constitution begins with "Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim". There is basic respect for all religions including Islam in the consitution. More here,

However - ours is obviously not an 'Islamic Republic' which is officially ruled by Islamic laws.

Equal treatment to people of all religious affiliations is guaranteed.

The constitution is secular but there are two references to Islam to in the introduction and Part I of the constitution. The document begins with the Islamic phrase بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ which is translated as “In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful”. Article 2A declares that Islam is the state religion of the republic.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has also stated that Bangladesh will be governed in line with the spirit of the Constitution of Medina.[11]

But the constitution of the conceptual state of madina was already broken in 1971.

The constitution roughly declares a state Religion yet define Nationalism in a very crude and primitive way.

Its almost like if a Russian taught Indian Muslim wrote it during the peak of cold war.

And I can't judge any person with little knowledge of him.

Bangladesh is not a lawless place. We have seven to eight different specialized law enforcement organizations and they are highly funded and disciplined. RAB is just one of them. I am sure such incidences are few and far between but the perpetrators will be swiftly brought to justice.

We prefer religious laws consciously in our personal and social life. Unfortunately you only know some pdf over smart BD individuals who are mostly secular in nature.
I can tell you something and that is Islam plays the biggest role in our life. But unfortunately our media is under control of raw moles .

I take that you are a Muslim. Tell me how much islamic is the constitution of Bangladesh?

Much of the laws are still Islamic for Muslims of the population.
Ex. Heredity laws, divorce laws
There are adjustments for people of other religions to and for Atheist (govt won’t admit it, but fundamentally it helps them too)
