At least 15 killed in Mumbai railway bridge stampede: official

That is what you get for voting-in communalists. They will keep you distracted from real issues with anti-Muslim rhetoric.

Anyone living in Mumbai and traveling by locals would tell you it is not uncommon. I don't know if it was raining and that contributed.
It wasn't raining, it was due to slippery streets! What has rain to do with people stomping over each other?

Present toll is 22.

5 lakh ek ek ko announce ho gaya.

Last 18 months, 3880 Railway accident deaths, more than terrorism related deaths.

And Jaitley types talk of 2030 = India developed country.
Where there are suckers, there are swindlers.
Ruling by fooling.
Simply simple.

The Latest: Officials say 22 dead, 32 hurt in India st

You're the very definition of a disgusting human being.

It couldn't have rained any heavier than it did this morning. Don't BS.

Same here man.

Almost cloudburst scale.

@cocomo is probably European if he doesn't know what effect heavy rains has on big cities and their infrastructure here ....

He's just your average, thinks-he-knows-it-all, grossly uninformed and miserably educated pakistani.

I would pay to know the secret of your unmolested longevity here.

This coming from a much molested molester.

Cheers, Doc

Who should be in Jail... Rain... or Timing gods .... there is no infrastructure failure... nor there was a fire... a plain simple stampede....

What are you talking about? I have seen more than 10-15 tweets from a number of people alerting the authorities of the possibility of a stampede at this very spot. All of those tweets are from the last 1-2 years. If they could sense it so precisely then there was definitely an infrastructure failure. In fact, the govt allotted money to widen this bridge two years ago but as it happens often in India, the work didn't even start in 2 years. This is not a political issue, don't think any other govt would have fared better but it's definitely a case of criminal negligence. But we'll forget about it in a week and go back to our "chalta hai" attitude.
