The reality is our GHQ wants to have close relations with the west/Usa, because they have billions invested in those countries, they make millions profits, they have companies, shares etc and this then keeps the armed forces strong and close to India. This question is now moot. His ego is definitely bigger than Pakistan as is his criminal enterprise. Now army under him has come in the open and is asking the so called government to initiate legal proceedings against a man who was tried to be assassinated by none other than all these (army+PDM) combined.
The question is now what? I don't see a peaceful transaction happening any time soon. There is no point burying our heads in the sand, hoping things would turn out to be different. They won't!

I am convinced that an attack by the establishment would have been thoroughly planned and executed brilliantly and that the best and easiest way would have been a suicide attack through one of the veritable arms of Talibaan.

Attack by a pistol is the worst possible planning as even one of the best shooters would have serious issues targeting someone fatally from that distance, in that crowd, using a pistol (especially a burst pistol). One needs forensic analysis of the bullet and the pistol to determine the quality of the equipment and then investigate the accused (arrested target killer) before we start raising fingers.

The bullets hit imran khan was from both sides left and right there were atleast 2 shooters and one shooter was in the crowd and is projected to be a religious maniac ... Who is covering this up ? Who the hell release the confessional statements despite suspension of police officers by CM punjab, who is powerf enough to do that ?

Why FIR is not being registered ... If u r right then why not investigate and bring the culprit out infront ?

Even i can see theses things from the video then a career investgator can do much more then why the hell gov and establishment are hell bent to prove that it was an individual act ??? Unless they themselves are involved ... If its india , investigate it ... Who is stopping ISI and FIA to investigate it ?

If generals are murdering opponents to ensure america remains happy with them it means they r traitor as they were supposed to protect eavh and every person of pakistan and not to please usa
