I am glad that this is our best medal hall in history of our asian games participation...!! Atleast making progress at slow pace is better then no progress or decline...

we rank 6th in the tally with 14 golds...and the total medal count is 64.

Wrestling/Shooting/Badminton (especially Saina Nehwal)/Hockey were disappointing, rest was good The highlight for me was Somdev Burman (2 Golds in Tennis)

I am amazed by our performance in the athletics. Boxing has now become our trump card...with kabaddi having all India dominance ever since it was introduced...only disapointed in shooting and wrestling, where India is really strong.

in boxing , india won 9 madels ... 2 gold , 3 silver and 4 bronze...

but other then vijender singh non other actually impress in terms of technique ....the three other finalists lost in a no-contest ...the other goldmadelist win due to panelty points ...

coming next olympic , only few have hopes
