There's an idiom in urdu "bhirron ke chhattay main haath daalna".. It exactly applies to the current situation at north-western border of India, which is now extending to north-eastern border.

You are wrong these clashes started prior to abrogation of 370 ,it has nothing to do with it.it has all to do with the infra on the Indian side has improved in last few years and India has been able to detect and respond faster most of the time.

The heights we are talking about were not under Indian control after the 62 war .Now we have them under our control .yes they still hold our land .earlier Indian govts were not bothered and neglected the lac and Chinese had free run at the lac .all these frequent clashes you see are due to India catching up and respond to China land grab in time.

Fair comment. So you think the situation is going towards a limited or a full scale war?

Don't think so. There were hardly any news of Chinese advances in any of the disputed sectors despite their ability. The border was quite peaceful, and both forces were complying with the agreement of not using firearms.

I think western powers are pushing India to a war rather than convincing them to arrive at a peaceful solution with various neighbors, obviously to support their own economies.

What if i told you india wont even move a inch on that issue and pakistan will have to go to war with india if there was to be any change on ground.
