Nah, they’re just as valid if not more valid than the allegations that led to the persecution of yesteryear’s opposition and media, you supported it back then.

Just last year you and others like you were denying or excusing journalists being shot or attacked, opposition politicians being arrested on trumped up charges. Some of you folks even went so far as to deny and excuse the arrest of IG Sindh as a part of a politically motivated endeavour. You say you’re not a hypocrite, and I’m not going to ascribe that label, but you are most definitely applying as massive double standard. I remain consistent, it was wrong then and it’s wrong now.

No opposition leader was arrested on trumped up charges. They were arrested on corruption charges that were filed against them before PTI came to power

As for those attacks on some so called journalists. Well PTI interior minister didn't do them nor PTI government owned them like PMLN(N)

So stop drawing parallels and condemn fascism of noon league that you liberals supported on the name of civilian supremacy

Wrong, there were cases. As for corruption charges being filed, I suppose that means that Imran Khan can also be arrested as per this logic, and perhaps a good chunk of all parliamentarians. The previous government even used the old NAB laws to not only arrest on trumped up suspicions, but would have the right to detain people for months without any shred of evidence, without even a court date. The cases would then be thrown out of court because of how utterly frivolous they were. I'd suggest reading before coming to such massively wrong conclusions.

Both the current and the previous government used all legal means at their disposal, including the use of shitty laws, to go after their opponents. You choose to see one and excuse the other.

It is best to let the system work as it is designed to work. Let the date for the next general elections be announced, and then let each party work as best as they can to get the results they want to form the next government.

Please explain how what shahbaz gill said was not incitement within ranks?

I know what nun and ppp were saying. They used harsh language against persons and army's political role.
