Arshad Sharif’s mother moves SC to include Imran, Vawda, Murad and others as witnesses in murder case

The mother of slain journalist Arshad Sharif filed a miscellaneous petition moved the Supreme Court to include Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and other confidant of former prime minister in her son's murder probe.

The miscellaneous petition urged the SC to include Imran Khan, Faisal Vawda, Murad Saeed, Salman Iqbal and Imran Riaz Khan in the probe of her son Arshad Sharif murder.

A five-member larger bench headed by the Chief Justice of the SC will hear on June 13.

The Supreme Court issued notices to the Attorney General, Ministry of External Affairs and Special JIT.

The SC had adjourned the previous hearing seeking a progress report on the case.

The company might have persuaded the lawyer to lodge a petition on his mother's behalf and also name these people in the investigation. The poor lady who's already handicapped and alone in this world, might not even know what's going on behind her back or might have been given a shut-up call otherwise lose your grandchildren as well. The culprits that were named in the earlier petition are nowhere to be seen in the investigation and doing their dirty work like nothing even happened.

I have read the letter and it doesn't look like the FIR is against IK. It is only asking IK and others to be joined in investigation to get to real culprits as they claim to have evidence against the real culprits. The FIR doesn't say IK and the rest are suspects in this case.
