Arrogance of Burma and the Failed Diplomacy of Bangladesh

Failed diplomacy? More like stupidity by bunch of arrogant ***.
These are the people that we entrusted with power to run the country. Shame on us.

There needs to be an independent Arakan, with the North being split to join with other Bengalis, the South part should remain with Burma as that is where actual Arakanese (subset of Burmese) are from (they have grabbed more land in the past 50 years)

1.Fyi, though Buddhist, the Arakan Rakhines hate the Burmese more than the Rohingyas do. The Burmese have been systematically creating conflict between the Rohingyas and Rakhines to enable them to exploit.

2. The Burmese MIS and RAW had cooperated in 1995 to launch Op Leach to eliminate the most visionary Rakhine leader, Kyang Raja. Raja had tried all along to bring the Rakhines and Rohingyas in one platform to fight the Burmese invaders together. RAW trapped him and killed him in cold blood along with his team in Port Blair.

3. The infamous killer Col Peter Garweal, who had commanded Op Leach, has recently been seen active in this region.

Col Grewal was also accused of betraying India since Indian military and RAW was actually supporting the Arakan Army with training and weapon against the Burmese Military Junta.

It's not just the Rakhines and Rohingyas each and every ethnic group hates the Bamars.

1) Bamars are hated by all other ethnic groups, that is true. But, the recent rioting does not prove that the Rakhine Budhists and Rohingya Muslims are in good terms. These two groups fought, killed and raped each other in Arakan. Bamars did n ot play a role.

2) So, in the future Arakan may be divided into two of which the south should remain with Burma and the North wouldl form an independent country without any tie up with BD.

3) Except a few IslamicTalibans BD people are generally progressive minded, but the Rohingyas are not. They are very very fundamentalists with backward mind. Their association with a progressive BD will cause trouble for our own country.

4). Although Bengali itself was much developed in the Aarkan Kings' Court, but it is shunned today by the Rohingyas. The fundamentalists taught them that Bengali is a language of Hindus. So, their preferred languages are Arabic and Urdu though they generally speak in their local Bengali. They parrot lines from old books written in arabic, and speak broken Urdu to promote themselves as pure Muslims.

Mainly due to the anti-Muslim movements like 969 sponsored by the military junta, However, I believe unlike the Bamars, Rakhines could become civilized with proper education. Don't forget there are many Bangladeshi Rakhines living peacefully alongside Muslims.

Independent Arakan is the key, but having no ties with Arakan won't serve any purpose.

True but again education is the key!

Rohingyas are not Bengalis, they have a separate language.

There is only 800,000 Rohingya's left, loose talks of independence of Arakan from us Bangladeshi's will ensure that the rest of them get pushed out.

I think you should provide some part of your country to Rohindya's, they can make it as separate country because I dnt think Mynmar gonna give you even a inch of land and you dnt have capability to take it so its better you help Rohingya's.

Even China will take side of Myanmar not BD.

No, we don't need to give them a small country, but we can take them in as our citizen, provided OIC, ASEAN and other concerned nations in international community as well as Myanmar make a deal with Bangladesh, giving us back something in return, for this humanitarian and generous gesture.

We obviously have no obligation to take care of Myanmar citizens and solve their internal problems, but we can do it for a price and to solve this global humanitarian problem.

Its choice of BD that they want to accept all of them as citizen, but please dnt quote OIC its just a useless organisation for muslims. Just look at the situation of Iraq, syria and many more country where thousands are getting killed every day with no one taking care.

Muslims trying to take away another country's land.....as usual......but every country is not India.....
