We use the L88 Tethered Aerostat Radar System by Lockheed.
Radar Range is +/- 400km / 200NM
Max Altitude is 25,000feet / 7.6km

Are these deployed around the mountainous region touching Himalayas / Kashmir? or around other borders or both? How many does Pakistan has? 400 KM is pretty deep into the Indian territory for you guys, pretty much covers all concerned areas.

I can't talk about operational deployments, but last time I checked we had already received 6 units in inventory. There was talk of another 6, wether it materialized or it didn't, is something I don't know.
