JAMMU: An army jawan today allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in Laam sector along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district.

Police have registered a case and are investigating into the circumstances that led to the suicide of Lance Naik Vishal Lohar of 54 Rashtriya Rifles.

The army has also ordered a court of inquiry (CoI) into episode.

The 33-year-old jawan hailed from Karnataka.
R.I.P
But please don't blame Pakistan for this as well.

Why they keep shooting themselves? Do they even probe why this is happening? Any chance of foul play?

There was at least one such incident where they blamed the shooting on Pakistani sniper but it was a clear case of suicide.

The intense war-like environment of LoC coupled with stress of long deployments with added effect of sub-standard rations can be declared as the causes of such suicides

Mmhhhmmmm sure suicide

They missed to take off his head and blame it on Pakistan.

Laam sector is a rear area sector and is located more than 11 km from LoC.

Thats where your army says he killed himself

In reality it's just another cover up, another soldier killed but to mathematicians like you that would mess up your calculations

So you have lots of suicides and soldiers accidentally shooting themselves in the head

Probably killed by Pakistani forces during fire exchange.
Nice try.
No cross border firing in Rajouri in past 3 weeks.
On top of that Rashtriya rifles are mostly deployed in rear area posts, 8-9 KM from LoC as part of counter infiltration grid.
whereas forward posts on LoC are held by regular army (currently 2nd Naga)

Suicides happen in every military.
Last year 275 active duty US military members committed suicide.

Makes sense. Indian Army forces have beheaded Kashmiris in the past so in order to malign Pakistan Army, they might have beheaded their own dead soldiers. India over the years, have been working on agenda to equate Pakistani Army and Kashmiri fighter groups with Al Qaeda and Taliban so this claim is point of that malicious strategy.
