Bhai I have listened to many Tableeghi preachers during 2006-2007, and I was made to meet MTJ at Masjid Ibrahim Lahore. The concept of shirk they pedal is practical and grossly misleading. According to him asking or believing any human can help is shirk...How come? they went on saying that anyone who visits a qabar is mushrik

These are different times. If a person is preaching Islam without any sect, he may actually lead you to an unknown black hole. It is recommended to ask the preacher what exactly sect he is coming from. If he says that he is from no sect but pure Islam, he is telling a white lie. Because principles and teachings of Islam are compiled so precisely that the branches are practically visible.

So first choose a branch/sect carefully for yourself and for your friends/kids and then let a preacher/aalim come into play and pass the knowledge to you.
