U r stupid as well. Kapoor low IQ tells him not to use ear protection.
You cannot even do simple reasoning. That's tell us why Indian cannot make anything useful.
@ Xyon
1. Agreed that some officers from the Artillery are generally partially deaf owing to the nature of their job. But most of these officers are retired owing to this medical problem. If Gen. Kapoor was partially deaf, how and why was he promoted to such a level? Army is not an equal opportunity employer? It reflects very badly on the Indian Army as an institution to have impaired soldiers at the top.
Well, obviously you do not have a military background.
Retirement on medical grounds happens only when the soldier cannot perform his duties due to the impairment. There are laid down scales & norms for all forms of medical disabilities. So long as the soldier stays within these , its ok. In the instant case, he must be withing permissible limits of auditory capacities.
2. Old age is not an excuse for an Army Chief. Army Chief's have to be fit mentally and physically in all regards to lead.
He is.Mush chose not to retire well past the age for Govt employees.
Your post above almost convinces me that the Indian Army will next be looking at having deaf, dumb, hearing impaired, partially blind, limb amputated officers gunning to be the next Chief's?
Your convincing abilities leave a lot to be desired. There have been famous generals including those in the IA who rose to their ranks despite having lost a limb which was ' attributable to military service' .
Nice hook.. I am glad you aimed it at the institution and not the person.
i think india have bringed ill chief musharaf was also from artilery division but he was not deff sir
Gee Whiz Golly! Thanks TE for the inside information on the promotional standards and workings of Indian Army. In Pakistan Army we either supersede such medically (hearing impariment is a serious ailment which can indeed disrupt a man's ability to perform 100%, case and point is that your Gen Kapoora was unable to hear the fire during the American weapons testing, how bad could it get if he had a car coming from his same side honking in full?) downgraded officers with medical disabilities until such time they are utilized for other tasks then command and eventually retire in due course. But good to know that the Indian Army has great regards for the impaired & handicapped within its ranks to rise them to the level of top command. Say's a lot about the quality of your men in uniform though!
Its good he is deaf to US, so in a way it would make sure that no junior sec level officer from the white house would call him up like musharraf and threaten him with bombing his country back to stone ages.

I would hate to be a "bola"
