Stop this BS bickering. Or I close the thread. Don't be unnecessarily provocative Honor

U r stupid as well. Kapoor low IQ tells him not to use ear protection.

You cannot even do simple reasoning. That's tell us why Indian cannot make anything useful.

Sir,

Please control your wrath behaviour as it shows your nondescript personality.

And please frame the sentence in a congent manner if you expect ratiocination of what you say. I see how illitrate you are as a basic moral of not using "you Indian" while communicating, has not been taught to you. Keep your ignorance and pusillanimous being to yourself.

The day you keep the nationalism aside you will find yourself a transformed person. Its has got nothing to do with India, China or Pakistan, and I keep my thinking wide and open and not in a single post I tried to traduce or malign China or Pakistan on any ground.

And still I am not differentiating myself as an Indian, but as a person I am lucky to have friends from all around the world including China and Pakistan, thanks- I don't carry the same cheap attitude as you do. :china::pakistan: and INDIA.

Though the argument with you has reached an impasse as you have nothing productive to share. This is my last reply to you. Thanks May good God bless your thinking.

1. Agreed that some officers from the Artillery are generally partially deaf owing to the nature of their job. But most of these officers are retired owing to this medical problem. If Gen. Kapoor was partially deaf, how and why was he promoted to such a level? Army is not an equal opportunity employer? It reflects very badly on the Indian Army as an institution to have impaired soldiers at the top.

Well, obviously you do not have a military background.

Retirement on medical grounds happens only when the soldier cannot perform his duties due to the impairment. There are laid down scales & norms for all forms of medical disabilities. So long as the soldier stays within these , its ok. In the instant case, he must be withing permissible limits of auditory capacities.

2. Old age is not an excuse for an Army Chief. Army Chief's have to be fit mentally and physically in all regards to lead.

He is.Mush chose not to retire well past the age for Govt employees.

Your post above almost convinces me that the Indian Army will next be looking at having deaf, dumb, hearing impaired, partially blind, limb amputated officers gunning to be the next Chief's?

Your convincing abilities leave a lot to be desired. There have been famous generals including those in the IA who rose to their ranks despite having lost a limb which was ' attributable to military service' .

Gee Whiz Golly! Thanks TE for the inside information on the promotional standards and workings of Indian Army. In Pakistan Army we either supersede such medically (hearing impariment is a serious ailment which can indeed disrupt a man's ability to perform 100%, case and point is that your Gen Kapoora was unable to hear the fire during the American weapons testing, how bad could it get if he had a car coming from his same side honking in full?) downgraded officers with medical disabilities until such time they are utilized for other tasks then command and eventually retire in due course. But good to know that the Indian Army has great regards for the impaired & handicapped within its ranks to rise them to the level of top command. Say's a lot about the quality of your men in uniform though!

Nice hook.. I am glad you aimed it at the institution and not the person.

Well I really feel sorry for both and frankly now do not blame the impaired COAS of the Indian Army to make such goofy statements as he did recently about taking on China and Pakistan simultaneously! I do believe now that he would not hear one of us coming from his either side?

i think india have bringed ill chief musharaf was also from artilery division but he was not deff sir

.
I hope india will also bring a chief like kapoor who dont have any mind from inside it is empty as it is with kapoor

Sir,

Please understand that it depends from person to person and its a medical factor here, if Mr. Musharaf didn't suffer from such an illness doesn't necessarily means that no other person should or can suffer from the same. Thank you

I wonder what medical shape Lt Gen AAK Niazi was...

I'd rather go to war with a General with a hearing impairment than one with a tactical impairment.

What worries me is that the General went deaf not because of sounds from his weapons, but the US.

i am sure he must have been exposed to all those sound while he was a thriving officer in the IA, what exactly went wrong this time?

.
Its good he is deaf to US, so in a way it would make sure that no junior sec level officer from the white house would call him up like musharraf and threaten him with bombing his country back to stone ages.

No sir, you missed out the fact, he was actually deaf to the US made weapons, not their bickering. Couldnt stand the them because he was on their home ground, may be he was under too much pressure as the US must have shown something 'real' to him, or else he must have gone deaf when he was serving as a lieutenant inside india and firing similar weapons!

i dont consider that the terrain, humidity or the weather had to play much with the sound effects!

Rather, it is pitiful that the heroic general will not be able to hear triumphant drumbeats from occupied enemy’s city 96hour later ….

.
Well, I think it has effected his brain somewhat as well....especially going by his recent demeanor

Once again..a flame bait...He has not gone cuckoo. He just said it is a possibility that China and Pak can attack together. In such a case
India would be ready in 96 hours. He is going to retire in 4 months, his work wont be much affected by this.BTW George Bush also went deaf in one ear a few years in his presidency yet he completed 2 terms didnt he??
